Spring Notes #2

Memories of the day when I revisited Tokyo with Hug. Last time we went to the downtown, and this time to the central area :-)) After all… I definitely like “Tokyo Tower” than “Tokyo Sky Tree”:-D

ハグと一緒に、再び“おのぼりさん”をしてきました。 今回は汐留のパーキングに駐車し、まずは東京タワーへと向かいました。 東京タワーには、時期柄タワーの高さ333mにちなんだ色とりどりの333匹の鯉のぼりが飾られ、気持ち良さそうに風のなかを泳いでいました。やっぱりスカイツリーよりも東京タワーが好きだなぁ。。。と実感しきり (*´人｀*) その後、休日で歩行者天国になっている銀座から築地方面へ。 銀座には、個人で仕事をするようになる前に勤務していた会社があり、築地は会社員時代に長くお世話になった取引先があった場所だったので、記憶をたどり歩を進めるうちに、懐かしさがどんどんと胸にあふれてきました。隅田川からぼんやり眺める東京タワーの景色も気に入っていて、そのまま勝どきや月島方面へも歩いてみたかったんですけど、時間が足りなくて断念。。。

あと数日で、元号が令和に変わろうとしています。 いまの自分のライフスタイルを形作っていった時期である平成の30年を憶い起こすとき、なんとなくいつも小沢健二さんの歌が頭のなかで鳴りだします。ふと東京タワーを見にいきたくなったのも、そうした気分が作用していたからなのかもしれません (*´人｀*)

ハグ、そんなとりとめのない懐古旅につきあってくれてありがとう。

Dear my Tumblr's friends :-)

Thank you for always loving Hug and giving her many many kind words. Some time ago, she had an injury in her right hind leg and had a surgical operation yesterday. Surgery was successful, but several months of rest and rehabilitation are required until movement function is fully recovered.

I will take a break of Tumblr’s activity for a while to concentrate on support for Hug. If all goes well, in the spring she can run again on our beloved green road with her big smile!! I have no doubt about it :-)))

I'm praying from the bottom of my heart for the health and happiness of you and your family. We should meet up again, my dears♡

いつもハグを温かく見守って下さっている皆さま、 あらためて心から感謝しています。

実は少し前にハグが右後脚に怪我を負ってしまい、 昨日動物病院で大きな手術を受けました。 手術は無事に成功し、一週間程度の入院のあと、 自宅に戻っての安静とリハビリが数ヶ月間必要で、 僕は彼女のサポートに専念するため、 Tumblrの活動をしばらくお休みします。 順調に回復すれば、桜が咲く頃までには普通に 歩くことも走ることもできるようになりますので、 どうかくれぐれもご心配なく。 僕たちが愛してやまない、長い長い緑の道を、 彼女がもう一度、笑顔で駆け抜けてくれることを、 僕は微塵も疑っていません ( ´▽｀)

皆さまと、皆さまのご家族の毎日が、 健やかで幸せに包まれたものでありますように。

The glow of useless things  2003-2019

Walls, abandoned objects, scratches, and or metaphysical phenomena... Even if everyone pay no attention to them, the distinctive shine they emit stimulates my optic nerve. To be exaggerated, taking photo of such theme is my expressive style that will continue for a lifetime. These photos are my affections for beautiful subjects where my sensibility responds, and also it is my biggest empathy for wonderful attitude of dear @henricoudoux . “A World of little No Things makes the Whole World.” …Absolutely, dear Henri !

Thank you for always loving Hug and giving her many many kind words.

It is sudden, but Hug will be getting surgery on her left hind leg soon.

“In 30-40% of dogs with anterior cruciate ligament rupture, same symptom will occur on the opposite paw within 1-2 years.” I had heard so from veterinarian before last year's surgery of her right hind leg, but I was hoping it wouldn't happen. However, unfortunately… it suddenly became a reality…

So I will take a break of Tumblr’s activity again to concentrate on support for Hug. From previous experience, she should be able to regain normal walking function in about 3 months.

When the cherry blossom season in Japan comes, I think I can tell Hug's good news with biggest smile to everyone😊❤️🐶

突然ですが、12/28にハグが左後脚の手術を受けることになりました。

「前十字靭帯断裂を患ったイヌの30〜40%は1〜2年以内に逆側の後脚にも同じ症状が現れます」

昨年のハグの右後脚手術時に獣医師からそう言われましたが、そうならない60〜70%のほうでいられる幸運を願いながら、この1年を過ごしてきました。しかし、今月に入ってハグが突然訴え始めた左脚の不調が徐々に酷くなってゆき、動物病院での診察の結果、恐れていたことが現実となってしまいました。

完治を目指すには前回と同じ外科手術を選択する以外になく、自分の身体に何が起きているか理解できないハグに、術後のウンザリするような制限まみれの生活を再び強いることになるのは心が痛みますが、それを乗り越えまた思い通りに脚を使えるようになることで、シニア齢になってもイヌとしての大きな悦びである歩くことや走ることを諦めない犬生を１日でも多く味わい尽くして欲しい。飼い主として、そのための積極的治療に迷いはありません。

そんなわけで僕はまたTumblrの活動をお休みして、ハグのサポートに全集中しようと思います。そして、街じゅうに桜が美しく咲き誇る頃には、ハグをいつも温かく見守って下さっている皆さまに良い報告ができるよう、ハグと一緒にがんばります😊❤️🐶

コロナの感染拡大が厳しさを増していますが、どうか皆さまと皆さまのご家族の毎日が、明るく健やかなものであり続けますように。

路傍探懐　2011ー2017

横浜中華街で、老舗「萬珍樓」の社長を務められ、 街づくり団体連合協議会会長でもある林兼正さんがお書きになった 『なぜ、横浜中華街に人が集まるのか』という本を読む機会があり、 その《落地生根》の精神にあふれた内容に大変感銘を受けました。

町を愛し、子らや孫、我が身に繋がるものたちを思う場所に、暮らしが活きづく。 そこで心から笑うこと、お腹いっぱい食べること、 手を汚し、地に足を着け、此所よりほかに我らが故郷はないと、 寄り添いあい、支えあって、志を共に根を張り生きること。 まるで、そのひと粒ひと粒が瑞々しく膨らんで成す、 おおきな葡萄の房でありつづけるように。
