My 5yo likes to tell herself stories before she falls asleep and she just came out to me in tears because she accidentally killed off a character.
“The story got sad all by itself Mum!” I know baby. I know.
Everyone who gets like really into Greek mythology either ends up worshipping the gods, studying classics, gay, or somehow all three at once
Sorry for the long post! (And low quality pics? Why tumblr?)
Easy answer for number one. The freshman, book two, chapter one is one of a my absolute favourites. It has specifically two scenes with Kaitlyn and Emily that I have always enjoyed. The first being Kaitlyn meeting the mom and their walk back to the dorm and the diamond scene at the winter festival.
What I love about them are that they are simple innocent moments in their relationship. Not a care in the world. They are just enjoying their time with each other. From kaitlyn running up and twirling Emily in the air to their silly snowball fight and kissing in the snow.
They are the moments that we do not get to see anymore. They still happen of course, but we have come to to a point in the narrative where it is simply commonplace and therefore unnecessary to keep mentioning. If anything it would become stale and too repetitive to the reader.
Anyway, the scenes are a little bit of fluff that you can go read in the first chaoter that personally warms my heart and influences my fanfics of the two. They are a raw look into how the two act.
1.) What’s your favorite Kaitlyn chapter/scene?
2.) 3 things you love about kaitlyn and why?
You have no idea how many people lurk on your work. No idea how many times people go back to revisit your work. How big they smile when they simply think about your work. How fast their heart beats, how excited they get when they see that you posted something.
People are shy with their feedback. Sometimes it’s because they’re simply shy. Other times it’s because they assume you already know how great and talented you are. Could be both.
My point is, even if you barely have any likes or reblogs, don’t get discouraged. You have a lot of silent fans, but they are still your fans. Keep on creating. Because there is always someone out there who will love what you have made.

So quite a while ago I discovered my account was shut down by tumblr. I was given no reason or word at all abiut it and was not aware until I attempted to log in after a break. It took nine months for support to finally send me an automated response to my inquiry of my account. After again asking why it was taken down my account was restored afte rtelling me it found nothing wrong.
Okay.
Not sure what happened but my avatar was removed by them? Haha it was a literal snowflake with the blog's name.
I must have been hacked?
That aside things look the same around here. Fun to see all the cool art out there again.
I kept myself from writing my own original fiction for a long time because I worried so much about not writing “like other writers”.
I’d read an amazing book and want to make a reader feel all the things I was feeling, but then decided “well, there’s no way I can write like THAT” and whatever inspiration I had would die.
Listen. You don’t have to write like other writers. You have to write like YOU.
No one can write the way you can, because your voice belongs to you and only you.
I finally stopped listening to the voice that told me I shouldn’t write because I wouldn’t be as good as other writers. And when I did, I wrote a book in a little over a month.
Write the stories that you would want to read. Write the stories that you’ve been hiding in your heart.
Write them, because no one else can.
