Derailment of thought--defined by Cambridge.org as "a pattern of spontaneous speech in which the ideas slip off the track onto another one that is clearly but obliquely related..."
Defined by me as a the thought pattern that singlehandedly ruined*** both Tommy Taffy and Taylor Swift when the "Anti-Hero" video dropped.
Observe:
Now try to tell me that's not how "Third Parent" went.
***(By "ruined" I mean "improved.")
And just like that, it's the end of an Era.
There will never be another Sting. But there were many inspired by him. I was sobbing by the end of this--partly in mourning, yes, but also in relief and gratitude. Relief that Sting got to go out as he wanted; not abruptly on an injury. Gratitude that he got to go out as he deserved--with a match that was emotional, exhilarating, nostalgic, and utterly bonkers! And finally, gratitude that Sting put it all out there for us, his little Stingers who grew up with him, and who needed this chance to say goodbye.
From the bottom of my heart:
Thank you AEW.
Thank you Young Bucks.
Thank you Darby Allin.
And most of all,
THANK YOU STING!

Legasov was a rather zealous member of the party. he was considered a real Soviet, and a loyalist, somebody that you could count on to just toe the party line. this was a pretty avid Communist. his father was not just a Soviet true believer, he was more almost like one of the inquisitors, somebody whose job was basically to make sure that you were Soviet enough. that’s the environment that Legasov grew up in. […] the dissemination of his tape memoirs essentially gave everybody the courage to stand up and starting talking about this, but only in combination with his suicide. that it was his suicide that was just not possible to ignore. somebody like Legasov should not commit suicide in the Soviet Union. and that statement was not something you could repress. […] in his memoirs, he speaks quite clearly about the need for reform in the scientific community, and by extension, the people that control the scientific community. and so, following that, there are increased efforts for transparency within the community, and the RBMK reactors do undergo procedures to reduce the possibility of something like Chernobyl happening again. a lot of new rules are put into place. essentially, a lot of rules that you would have thought wouldn’t need to be there, are now there. —craig mazin
Two things entertain me above all others: monsters (creatures, cryptids, etc) and characters who seem to be holding together but are a roiling trash fire on the inside. Monsters who are also trash fires are what I write. I don't get it either.
