Wick Sable X Reader - Blog Posts

Hey, I'm the same one who send the Mordecai hurt one, firstly I'm sorry I didn't read the rules before the first one, secondly I have no idea what MLM is, sorry if I accidentally requested that?

And thirdly.

I also wanted to throw in a Wick X reader, if that's okay.

Spoilers for the webcomic

Wick thought the reader had something to do with the money Mitzi stole and took a bit offense when the reader said it might've been his old friend Mitzi

What happened there is up to you

But later the reader drank a bit much somewhere, and ended up not recognizing wick and accidentally confessed while the reader thought he was just venting to a stranger

I'm again really sorry if this to specific/vauge, badly phrased, or something against your rules.

I just had this idea sitting in my mind for awhile now, and saw by chance that you had commissions open so I thought why not ask-

Thank you for your time!

Well, at least you've read the rules after all lol. Next time I recommend googling it up. I know I already addressed it in my last Mordecai post, but I'll do it again to be clear cuz I got another request that was against the rules. 'MLM' is 'man loving man' and I don't feel very comfortable doing it, please keep that in mind. I have my reasons. Although if the request isn't affected by the gender I will write it with a gender neutral reader instead (usually it occurs to character x any gender).

All issues aside, this request is pretty cool! Love the idea and I love how detailed it is! Keep it up ;3

I'm not sure if it was supposed to be romantic or platonic so I'll keep it neutral.

The reader is gn, this work mentions drinking/being drunk, very slight angst but then you get comfort.

Hey, I'm The Same One Who Send The Mordecai Hurt One, Firstly I'm Sorry I Didn't Read The Rules Before

It was Sunday. Your day was going quite smoothly and you had some free time to spare. You decided to visit Wick since you hadn't seen him for a while and you'd lie if you said you didn't miss him.

You strolled up to his house and knocked on the front door. Wick opened it and smiled lightly.

"Hello Mr. Sable." You bowed with a grin on your face.

"Oh, greetings Mx. L/N. Are we talking business?" He teased, then moved back and held the door open so you can walk in.

You put your leg forward and stepped in.

"So with all the formalities aside, how are you today? We have beautiful weather, don't we?" You turned to look at him.

"I'm doing fine. We are indeed having beautiful weather, however paperwork is keeping me at my desk, so I haven't got an opportunity to go outside to enjoy it.... There have been some strange gaps in my expense list."

"oh really? Why so?" You tilted your head with curiosity.

"Lacy recently showed me some bank statements that I don't remember signing. I looked at my checkbook and noticed that some pages had been torn out without my knowledge." he sighed.

"Oh really? That's weird. Maybe you simply forgot you wrote those checks?" You wondered.

"No, it happened recently and my memory isn't that scrappy... Yet... I think... You, miss May and miss Lacy were the last ones to see them." He raised his arm to scratch the back of his neck awkwardly. "I was thinking perhaps you knew something about it?.."

You stared at him dumbfounded. Did he think you stole his checks?

"I have no clue. I don't even know where you keep your checks. On top of that, I would never take it without your permission. Perhaps it was Mitzi? If I remember correctly Lacy complained about Miss May being nosy with her briefcase." You pursued your lips in a light pout.

Wick's expression shifted. You couldn't quite picture what it was, but you could tell it wasn't anything good. He had a slight scowl on his lips.

"No, I highly doubt it. She wouldn't do that. She's a classy woman and I've known her for a while." He sounded almost offended.

"Are you suggesting that I'm some kind of a 'low class', that I stole your checks?!" You scrunched your nose up. You attitude shifted into a defensive mode.

"that's not exactly what I meant but-"

"But what? You actually think that. I can tell." Your glare sent daggers at him. He just stared at you, not knowing what to say. You huffed then turned around and stormed off.

You couldn't stop thinking about what happened. You were so angry at Wick for acting like Mitzi was a saint and not acknowledging your word. Your madness slowly turned into sadness. It was supposed to be a nice day and it took such a turn... You needed to take an edge off.

It was evening. You found yourself at a speakeasy different than usual. You didn't want to risk meeting Wick and bumping into Mitzi. Seeing these two together would be a disaster.

You ended up drinking your sorrows away. You don't know how many turns you've had nor how much money you've already spent. You just wanted to numb your feelings.

You weren't the only one with such idea. Wick felt somewhat guilty about what he said. He should've chosen his words more wisely. He didn't feel like visiting Lackadaisy. He couldn't bear himself to see the ones he suspected of stealing his properties. He couldn't stop thinking about your words too. Maybe you were right? But at the same time... he was charmed with Mitzi, he couldn't get himself to think so badly of her. It all was giving him a headache.

His surprise was huge when he saw you at the bar counter. He had to blink a few times to let his mind process it. What a coincidence, eh? He sighed. Maybe it was a sign to make things up with you. He made his way to you slowly and chose to sit on a stool right next to you. Wick took off his hat, ordered a glass of whiskey on the rocks and folded his hands on the table.

"Hey..." He spoke up softly with a tinge of remorse in his voice.

You turned in his direction. Your vision was blurry hence you didn't register who sat next to you.

"Oh dear... you look wasted." He exclaimed with surprise.

"yeah? Well guess what! It's all because my... friend accused me of something I'd never do!" You hissed at the stranger sitting next to you.

"I didn't mean for it to go that way... I just-"

"And he didn't believe me when I said it wasn't me!" You went on. "He chose some gold digger over me!"

"Hey, don't say it like that-" Wick tried to differ.

"I thought he trusted me! How stupid was I to think that?!" You whined.

Wick winced and turned his head to the other side. He really did mess up... and it seemed like you were too drunk to even recognize him. The Siamese sighed and decided to take a different approach. He turned to you once again.

"He probably was just confused... Maybe even all pent up and didn't think straight? I'm sure he regrets what he did." He said awkwardly and took a sip of his drink to soothe his nerves.

"You think so?" You looked at him with glossy eyes.

He sighed and nodded as a soft smile appeared on his face.

"yeah, I'm sure." He extended his paw to you but hesitated. He fought himself on what to do but finally he pet your shoulder in reassurance. "Now, if you'll excuse me..." He grabbed his hat, put it on, exchanged a few words with the bartender, gave him a few dollar bills and turned around to leave. "Have a good night, mx." Then he left.

After that, the bartender didn't want to serve you for some reason. Well, at least your bill was already paid. Although it seemed somewhat strange, you didn't remember paying for the last round of drinks you've had, but hey, you weren't going to complain. Good for you!

After you got home you collapsed on your bed and passed out.

Wick decided to talk to you once you were sober and not hungover. He visited you and apologized properly. He wasn't sure what to do with the check situation tho. He'll figure it out. Maybe you'll even help him to make the right approach to talk about it with Mitzi.

A/n: oneshots are making me go insane but I think I did pretty good with this one :) Hope you've had fun! Reblogs and likes are very appreciated ^^
