my gods, there's gotta be a be a fall guy au anidala fic, i can just picture them in the movie man. Like if i were to cast Anakin is Colt, Padme is Jody (honestly this is wut makes me ask for this in the first place) Rex as Dan, Ahsoka as Tom's assistance ig but she gets more plot relevance because of course she does, Obi wan as Nigel ( Satine is also there cuz why not), maybe Rush as Tom, idk who would be Gail, go wild on that really. Like i really want this to happen man pls pls pls
How do we feel about time-travel fics where teenage Ahsoka crashes the Kenobi-Jinn Mandalore mission and, while Obi-Wan is having weird courtly love pining nonsense with Satine, Ahsoka herself has managed to hook up with Bo-Katan.
It was supposed to be an undercover thing where Ahsoka hunted out Death Watch! It’s not like they did more than make-out in a corner between training sessions. Mostly they got into really aggressive sparring flirtation and then had to be pulled apart by Pre!
Just. You know. Once Ahsoka leaves Mandalore and goes back to the Jedi she keeps getting weird, love-lorn letters and violent gifts, because apparently, saying she hates slavery and had a bad experience with the Queen of Zygerria in particular means getting a head in a box in the mail, because when Bo likes someone, she flirts via regicide.
19yo Pre is 17yo Bo’s unwilling accomplice in seducing a Jedi.
Ahsoka’s busy getting teased by Quinlan Vos and Garen Muln. This only gets put on hold when the gifts go from “cool knife” to “literal head of a head of state,” and the Temple has to deal with that. It’s not a fun time.
Obi-Wan would join in on the teasing, except, well, Satine.
Qui-Gon is a little disappointed in both of them but he accepts that, in an absurd way, Ahsoka’s admirer is assassinating her way to a better galaxy, so maybe the Force did will this.
Happy May 4th! Star Wars sketchdump be upon ye
Women of the Galaxy.
Bo: oh, he's one of those mad creepe zealots
Death watch: helped Maul to got Manadalore and kill Satine
Bo: YoU DonT unDerStanD tHis Is dIfFernT
Obi Wan: I cannot let my feelings about Satine and her death cloud my judgement!
Anakin, absolutely not about to murder Jedi and younglings alike because of his feelings about Padme and her death: Uhhhhh... yeah!
I’ve decided to mash my two current hyper fixations together so I’m doing tarot cards as star was characters
Really proud of this mandalorian OC I drew a little while back
I love the clone wars trio bc I see them all as different commentaries on the Jedi of the time.
Obi Wan is what the Jedi were.
Anakin is what the Jedi preached against.
Ahsoka is what the Jedi should aspire to be.
Obi Wan had the best of intentions: he wanted to save Anakin, to save Satine, to save Ahsoka. But in the end he failed due to Sith scheming. He was set up to fail, wether it be his dead master or the intergalactic war he was forced to fight in. And in the end Anakin did fall from the light, Satine was killed in Maul's quest for revenge, and Ahsoka walked away. He was a well-intentioned man with a good heart who was ultimately set up to fail by the Sith.
Anakin too wanted safety for his loved ones, but he took it to far. Instead of prioritizing those people, their wants and needs, he prioritized the way they made him felt. Instead of selfless love, he loved selfishly, which is exactlaly what the Jedi are against. They're not against love, they're against attachment. Anakin couldn't let go of Ahsoka: it corroded his faith in the Jedi, sowed seeds of resentment. He couldn't accept that Padme or Obi Wan didn't agree with his vision, because if they don't make him feel good, then they no longer love him. Anakin was a kind boy twisted by the Sith and his misguided attachment to others.
Ahsoka falls into a similar category as Obi Wan, except for one detial. She walked away. She recognized that the Jedi were unintentionally loosing themselves in war. And even through she was a spectacular warrior, a talented commander, she recognized that it wasn't supposed to be her job. She was able to let go of her attachment to Anakin and the 501st. She was a product of her masters and friends, of Obi Wan, Anakin, Padme, and all the others who influenced her growth. And even in the end, when her world fell, she still acted with compassion and understanding, which is exactly what a Jedi should be. Despite her discomfort with the twisted meaning of the title, Ahsoka embodied the fundamental traits of a Jedi. Not flawless, but an empathetic peacekeeper capable of embracing love and rejecting attachment.
Idk if I'm articulating it right, but the general idea is there.
maybe I'll even draw them. maybe.
“Your people need new kind of leader.” “My sister tried that, I never understood her idealism.”
An adption of “The Two Sisters” by the French romantic artist Théodore Chassériau.
Satine and Pre Vizsla definitely didn’t like each other in their younger days ugh
Something about pairing up characters whose cultures have traditionally been enemies but who find themselves continually drawn together. Something about pairing representatives of two cultures that emphasize creed over ethnic origin, struggle with what war and peace mean to their societies, and are united by a glowing black sword that has forever bound their peoples with a strange connection. There’s just something about it!
