MLD confession: i dont like MLD’s artstyle. at all. i fully believe they should’ve gone for a different artist for the characters/CGs. the old art from the kickstarter page was so good WHAT HAPPENED 💔💔
tell me “its just GTN’s artstyle!!!” or whatevr but why do the characters in MLD look and act like middle schoolers??? i feel like they were originally going to make them all 10-15 year olds but for some reason (maybe because they thought that making it a dating sim with 10-15 year olds as dateable characters would add on to the hate they would get for MLD on top of the whole ww2 dictator dating sim thing??) the main girls and yamato were both described as “teenagers” at some point, and it may be just because im not from the UK (country MLD was made in) but i dont think 20 year olds count as teens anymore. young adults yes but i would’nt say they’re teenagers. and im gonna say right now i actually would not give a shit if they were all kids cuz just look at starin there is NO way she is 19 or even above 12 in my opinion 😭
as an MLD fan i am SO glad all the other MLD fans i met hate yamato. i mean hes better than other dating sim protags (and by that i mean hes not a total pervert) but hes still really bad. also, i ship him with evan. sorry not sorry.

(im lowkey so dissapointed tho that they ended up choosing the white uniform for goring like ANY OF THOSE OTHER ONES WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER 😭) im glad they changed starin tho because that… thing… is staring into my soul. (i say that as if regular starin doesnt look like shes staring into my soul XD)
ok, i know this may or may not be a hot take in the MLD fandom or whatevs but i HATE yamato. he is the worst character in the game. i go so excited that one time he almost died but then got so dissapointed when i found out he was actually alive the whole time. and tbh everything he did would all be somewhat forgivable and i would’ve just put him in “mildly dislikable” tier IF IT WASNT FOR WHAT HE DID TO MY BELOVED JOEBBELS 💔💔💔💔 im still fuckin PISSED at both yamato and hitora in that one part of the game JOEBBELS DESERVED NONE OF THAT SHE WAS RIGHT ABOUT YAMATO ALL ALONG AND SHOUKD NOT HAVE ALMOST GOTTEN KILLED FOR IT!!! and before you say anything about it, no i also do not believe that joebbels actually started liking yamato after he saved her from her near death that HE BASICALLY CAUSED but i have my own theories on that for another time. bottom line is, YAMATO IS THE WORST MLD CHARACTER. HE SHOULD’VE NEVER EXISTED. MAYBE THEN JOEHITO WOULD’VE ACTUALLY BECOME CANON 💔💔💔💔💔💔 FUCK YAMATO. BYE.
call me delusional but i genuinely believe im the biggest MLD fan ever. i have constantly thought of this game since i found it back in 2023. i spent days trying to find out how to open the files. i spent hours looking through the dev’s old website and progress updates on the internet archive. hell, i even payed for the dev’s inactive patreon just so i could get more MLD stuff! bottom line is, I LOVE MLD ITS THE BEST GAME EVER!!!!

its some shitty (but somehow very entertaining) dating sim where basically all the important ppl in ww2 are anime girls. it fucking sucks and i love it.
anyways it costs like 17 euros on steam. its horrible. you need to play it.
