Pawel Althamer's sculpture is in 60 cmcube wooden box which models a room which he lived in or the room which is living in him (my comment). On the whole all his art works leaves a sad taste of memoirs. One of his works is a big model of the province that his childhood passed I guess. The East Bloc proleter apartment buildings with their cold and uniform facades, the 'dacha' like summer houses, the lakeside that he had dreamed with his friend all included, it seems i that model. I really fascinated to discover this Polish Artist's works. I felt that art still is alive and after years of searching it in museums like pompidio or moma it is the to look after it in some galleries like #newmuseum newmuseum.org #instanyc #instamood
