In an AU I'm working on, the Kraang were experimenting on various animals in order to perfect the mutagen in a controlled environment.

They are transporting turtle eggs that have been developed through some kind of mutagen-biologically modified human and turtle DNA and something something Splinter bumps into them and steals these eggs and assumes they're birds or something idk

I'm still working on it
