Leo and Mikey are having a spitball contest to see how many they can land in a cup. None of them have gotten a point. Mikey goes first and misses then Leo goes and gets his first point.

Donnie asked Mikey to do a timed multiplications test for a study. Mikey has trouble and is mentally exhausted by the time the timer goesoff.
Mikey: [hands over test] Alright, just grade the whole thing then we’ll talk about it.

Mikey: [heavily sighs with a hand on his head] Aww man, that was so stressful.
*Donnie starts laughing*

Mona: Why would I put my finger on their throat?
Raph: [confused] What? Oh, no, it’s a symbol. This is a symbol for you slicing their throat.

Raph: It’s a general expression for you killing someone. [talking to a fellow alien] You’ve heard of this, you’ve seen this, right. Y’know whatthat is.

Marvel/Gamora Unpopular Opinion
My Opinion: Having 2014 Gamora replace 2019 Gamora was a terrible choice.
The reason why I disliked this writing choice because all the character growth she got is gone. The rest of the Guardians have developed, while Gamora basically got a restart. Plus, Starmora(don’t know the official ship name) is basically left with a lovestruck Peter and a clueless Gamora.
I know that there will be a third Guardians movie, but it’s probably going to be slow since Gamora is going to need some development. Or they might skip over the development and not let us see it.
Anyway, I know this may sound harsh. But, sometimes, characters shouldn’t be brought back to life.

Guardians of the Galaxy is the story of a Racoon who flies a space ship and it had me sobbing on the floor.
It’s about outcasts, overcoming abuse, learning to love yourself and those around you.
It’s about forgiveness and guilt and family.
It’s about all the ludicrous little details surrounding life that make it bearable.
…I just really like the fucking raccoon ok?

I don’t ask for much but the next time we see the guardians of the galaxy they better mention something about how Rocket was alone for 5 years
Bonus points if they’re inside jokes between him and Nebula about missions they went on together that leave the other Guardians confused
+double bonus points if Rocket has a break down and he actually shares about what if felt like to be alone
Nebula teaching everyone how to play the table football game she learned from Tony would also be appreciated
@monthly-challenge 2024 | Day #15: Dancing
Some of my favorite dance scenes in fiction
To the surprise of absolutely no one, I was left screaming and crying on the floor over Floor.
What’s special about guardians of the galaxy as well is I think it manages to walk the fine line of having death be present and something that could very much happen to our main characters but also choosing to keep them all alive at the end of the trilogy. Not only is it nice to see finished arcs but I’ve never once felt as if the stakes were not high in these films and could not result in a main character death. James Gunn does a good job at showing he isn’t afraid to go there with what happened with Yondu at the end of gotg 2 (and providing a very meaningful death to him beneficial to his arc) and to an extension even shows this with rockets friends (lyla teeths floor) in the third film. I 100% felt as if multiple guardians would die I’m this film and whilst it did come close everyone made it out okay! This is a change from what we see in previous media where the line has pushed to one side too much where it can get annoyingly repetitive and boring because there is no tension or, death can happen too frequently that it’s a joke.

Them: GOTG3 is tragic and nuanced because Peter finally had the growth to accept that he had to fall out of love with a woman who was dead, and Gamora 2.0 found her own perfect family all by herself. Drax was seen as a valued member of the team and we finally understand Groot because we’ve spent enough time with him that we hear what he’s actually saying and—
