So I think that teddy and Vic kind of were dating when they were your very much puppy love when Rita skeeter wroote the paper she did on them snoggging. I have this head canon that even though Vic understands her birthday is an important day in history and that people are grieveing that she’s kinda sad her birthday isn’t a very joyous occasion in her family. I believe they all take time to try and make it special and joyful but I think she knows how sad it is and at some points is sad herself because she can’t have an exciting birthday like her cousins/siblings as is jealousies that fact. I also believe that Vic is also so understanding that she doesn’t want to sound like a “brat” ( even though I don’t think she is one) so she doesn’t say anything but she hates that her birthday is that day and she wishes it were in a different day but then feels bad so then regrets the thoughts
