Ok after seeing the promo, what if Tommy sees Gerrard watching him as he is with Buck and he tries to be affectionate but Tommy pushes him away. He is putting himself back into the closet out of fear which upsets Buck to the point that they may part ways.

I'm just here stressing about my college algebra exam Friday and this week I've been hit with stills, matching rings, and episode 6 titled confessions. How am I going to focus on rational fractions and graphs? 🤣

Just to add fuel to the fire, from what I'm seeing with the marks under Buck's eyes, they may be bruises as they kind of have a purple tone to them. And with the basketball situation, things may have got heated between Buck and whoever he is actually with to the point that the ball is thrown, hitting him in the nose so hard that it forms those "bruises" under his eyes. Eddie freaks out and makes sure he is okay after what happened which gives us the shoulder scene as well as the Buckley siblings with their conversation right after.
