Yall know the mission "My Last Boy"? Yeah the one where Dutch sends a bunch of the native Americans to their deaths, the one where Arthur leads Dutch to the money, the one where Arthur gets steam blown in the face, where Dutch leaves him and he would have died if it wasn't for Eagle Flies? Yeah that one. Arthur isn't paid anything for that mission.

Instead we are given a little message saying "the other half is split between the gang members who worked the job" meaning Dutch does not think Arthur contributed in that mission.He killed all those folk, he fought, he almost died and he showed Dutch the location of the money, yet he didn't get anything because he didn't work it apparently.

Okok i read the book a while ago and no character had made me feel so disgusted than holden but then it turned into horniness and now I'm just disgusted with myself oh lord I need him to crush me

resents Christianity (see: his drunken threat to shoot the ass off of Jesus Christ) due to it being used as justification of slavery, and the Bible being used to sell the idea that being Black was the mark of Cain or something

never talks about his past, as it would just be used as ammunition against him

illiterate (as per Southern law), too proud to admit it, let alone ask anyone to teach him

For the first time in two years, I decided to read something and came across a book that feels like a rollercoaster. The villain, Judge, definitely plays his role brilliantly in this story, but when it comes to his actions...

I made this sketch after the first chapter, so there's only a sunset here and nothing more. (I got really confused with the colors because they look different everywhere, so I hope it didn’t turn into a colorful mess for you. :'D)
