Every time I’m listening to a character playlist one of my friends made I’m like “omg! OMG! These songs remind me so much of the character my friend likes! I must tell them at once!”

And then the devastating realization that I am about to tell them their playlist of songs that remind them of a character happens to remind me of the character.

So there's the idea of "kitchen table poly," AKA "everyone in the polycule needs to be able to sit at a kitchen table together and get along like friends."

One of my roommates just came up with a counter idea, which is "poker table poly." Everyone in the polycule must be enemies. No one is allowed to get too chummy or they're kicked out. They all also likely owe eachother money.

Organized a dinner party recently. It was lovely. I hosted spectacularly. The guests hatred of me and everything I stood for was rivaled only by my hatred of them and everything they stood for.

I recently learned that m and n dashes are in fact separate things with important distinctions. I had been using n dashes in place of m dashes in my work for years, and no one mentioned it. Needless to say, my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
