Two words. James Potter.

okay but hear me out:

In first year Remus never told anyone when his birthday was

The marauders made a big fuss on birthdays

Until Sirius asked McGonnagal

She told them because they were super annoying

Remus wakes up on his birthday thinking it would be a normal day

Instead wakes up to his friends holding balloons, gifts and a sign that said “Happy Birthday Remu”

They blamed James

Remus was utterly shocked at his friends

Tries convincing them today is not his birthday and they shouldn’t celebrate

“Nonsense. This is gonna be LEGENDARY”

They sing him happy birthday in the Great Hall too

And whenever they come into each other in the halls

And at dinner

To end the day they sneak out past midnight to the astrology tower

They gift Remus a cake (It said again “Remu”)

Remus goes to bed so happy because he has the best friends ever

playing with style a bit :)

Sirius (to Remus): You taught me that a man can rule his emotions, but i can't. I can't help, that i love you more than i've loved anything in my entire life.

Sometimes Remus has a hard time falling asleep because he’s too busy watching Sirius, the slow rise and fall of his chest, long lashes fluttering against his cheeks, the moonlight caressing his alabaster skin. In the fleeting moments of midnight, Sirius wakes suddenly, and Remus holds him tight, thinking he’s had a bad dream, prepared to kiss the nightmares away. Instead, Sirius blinks slowly, fingers tracing the lines of Remus’ jaw, a strange look on his face. You’re my best friend. His eyes close moments later, sighing as he nestles his nose against Remus’ neck, lulled to sleep by the steady rhythm of Remus’ heartbeat. It’s in those silent moments laying in the dark that Remus knows he’s in love. Truly, deeply, irrevocably in love.

*Sirius, James & Peter not being able to sleep in the Gryffindor common room at 3 am, while Remus quietly sleeps*

Sirius (whispering): According to a study, one out of four boys is homosexual. We’re four boys and that means one of us is homosexual. I just hope it's Remus, because he's such a cute and handsome guy.

James: .....

Peter: Yeah it’s definitely Moony, for sure.

sirius was lounging in his chair at his ease, tilting it back on two legs. he was very good-looking, his dark hair fell into his eyes with a sort of casual elegance neither james’s nor harry’s could ever have achieved, and a girl sitting behind him was eyeing him hopefully, though he didn’t seem to have noticed.
