I really love the Remus is the moon, Sirius is the stars and grant is the sun metaphor bc the moon goes with both, but the sun is the nearest star and Sirius is the the brightest star. That just tracks very well with their dynamic.

i like fully want to agree with this, like wholeheartedly wish I could- but if he did love remus with lycanthropy he wouldn’t have used it as a excuse to stop trusting him

Same with James and lily, sure they never believed Remus was the spy but they still didn’t tell him they were switching the secret keeper, so there must’ve been some doubt in their mind/ mistrust (and let’s face it, it was because of his lycanthropy- nothing else) that Remus was in fact the spy because as a werewolves he had a “motive”

SIDE NOTE: I bet you if peter was also a werewolf (hypothetically speaking) I bet you they wouldn’t have trusted him either in that time

that’s fair! my fan interpretation was clouding my judgment a little bit. nevertheless, i still think only sirius didn't trust remus enough to tell him that they changed the secret keeper. isn’t that what’s given in canon? and even if he trusted remus fully, peter would’ve been the more tactical choice bc remus was in "danger” all the time and wouldn’t be able to keep it safe. peter was less of a target. i’m confused tbh, but tell me if i’m wrong pls. :) it’s been a while since i read the books, but i don’t ever recall reading that james and lily mistrusted remus or suspected him. i don’t think they would’ve ever done that. sirius mistrusted him at some point and james was definitely aware of that, but i'm sure he never ever bought that. in the end he agreed not to tell remus, but i think not bc he believed what sirius said, but bc he loved him and he deluded himself thinking that not telling remus would be a way to keep him safe. mistrusting remus was one of sirius' biggest regrets, but i don’t think it was only bc of his lycanthropy. he suspected remus as the spy bc he was distant and more of a "loner", not necessarily bc he was a werewolf, but that’s just my personal opinion you know. maybe i’m wrong. i know in the prisoner of azkaban they both said sorry to each other bc they thought of each other as the spy. tbh i also think making peter the secret keeper wasn't necessarily a choice of trust. they made him the keeper bc no one would’ve suspected him to be the keeper. it was a trick. ngl this is actually a topic worth of discussion haha. thanks for sharing your point of view with me and if you like, you can write me your opinion on what i just wrote. would love to hear your thoughts and also the thoughts of others.

i am always listening to music with earphones, dancing and making choreographies. i enjoy listening to kpop. i like to write and when i do i like to put in as many details as possible. i have two cats. i like learning languages, i can speak french, english fluently, italian and spanish moderately and i'm starting to learn korean seriously. i dress in multiple aesthetics. i own 'quirky' earrings. i like makeup. i want to experience a lot with my hair, i would love to bleach and dye it in multiple colours. i believe that family doesn't necessarily mean blood for personal reasons and from experience. i am the kind of person who likes to do multiple things though i often stop something and never or later finish it. i'm overly confident yet extremely self-conscious. i often need reassurance because of trauma i have and trust issues with my family with transphobia and homophobia. my favourite series are alice in borderland and the umbrella academy. i like animes. i get scared easily but laugh and scream when i get scared. i speak with my hands a lot and i am really expressive. i use the finger guns too much and the word period too haha. i zone out a lot and talk to myself constantly. i would like to become an english teacher and still dance in the future. the perfect date would be either chilling in my apartment, going out to the amusement park or a picnic. i get slightly shy when i first meet someone but warm up to them fast. i get shy with people who are interested in me romantically even if i knew them for a while.

the magic seemed to flow fairly naturally, quite instantly beginning to yank at your hair, slowly recoloring it.

Remus always knew he was destined to fall in love with Sirius, but it isn’t until he wears a certain leather jacket does his heart finally explode. Requested by @stubborn-angels!

He didn’t know when he was going to fall in love, or how, but from the very first moment they met on the train during their first year, Remus knew that someday, some way, he was going to fall in love with Sirius Black.

Remus waited patiently, spending plenty of nights in the library with Sirius sitting across from him, wondering if it might happen then. If their knees would brush and he would feel the air change, or maybe when Remus tried to reach for a book and Sirius had to help him, because in those early days, Sirius was the tall one.

He dreamed that maybe they would fall in love at a Quidditch game, cheering wildly as Gryffindor won the House Cup, so overwhelmed by their emotions that they hugged each other and never let go.

But it wasn’t until Remus was left stranded in the rain one afternoon in Hogsmeade, huddled together under a short overhang waiting for the sudden deluge to slow so they could run back to the castle, did he finally feel that bolt of lightning electrifying his veins.

“It was literally sunny five minutes ago,” Sirius frowned, wiping off the spots of water from his leather jacket. The thrill of finally having his very own jacket hadn’t quite worn off yet, even though the leather was already a bit stained and still smelled like the thrift shop.

“I told you I hear thunder earlier,” Remus said, rolling his eyes. Leave it to the rain to ruin his perfect day alone with Sirius, James having run off earlier to chase after Lily.

“Are you cold?” Sirius asked, glancing at the swath of goosebumps rising on Remus’ skin.

I headcanon Remus as pretty calm and level-headed (he's the type of person where Sirius and James are more scared of him when he's calm angry) but i imagine him FLIPPING out over something like a new book release from his favorite author.

It was difficult, at first, seeing his eyes well up every time those three words left Remus’ mouth, the wave of doubt washing over him, but now, the tears are gone, and in their place, rosy cheeks and a shrewd grin. I love you, but that’s the stupidest idea I’ve ever heard. I’m going to the library, love you. Don’t be silly, you know I love you. The final I love you comes at night, when the boys are laying together in bed, legs tangled together and heads sharing the same pillow. I can’t give you all the love you deserve, but we’ll start with this. I love you, Remus whispers, pulling Sirius in close and kissing him softly.
