To paraphrase the old joke about eating elephants: “How do you eat a Dragon? Easy – one bite at a time.” That’s how you tackle big goals with big challenges, and how I’ve been managing the new Kickstarter for the trio of coloring books. Focus on enough small achievements, and before you know it, you’ve crossed the finish line. So for today, I have TWO goals I’m trying to reach: First, I need SIXTEEN more backers to reach 200. This is a very doable goal. smile emoticon And second, I want to bring in just $1546 in pledges – that amount puts the project at over $14k, but more importantly, it reduces the amount still to reach to four digits. And then it’s simply a race to the finish line. smile emoticon So please share the link with the friends and family you think will like three new books filled with pictures to cherish and color, and let’s see if we can find sixteen more people to take a bite out of a Dragon.

Since James posted this he’s had a handful of new backers, but is still a few  shy of 200, and the $14k immediate goal. His art is gorgeous. The quality of the first coloring book is fantastic. I am the very model of effective social distancing!

I listen to the experts on the topic of resistance-ing;

I know that brunch and yoga class aren’t nearly as imperative

As doing what I can to change the nation’s viral narrative.

I’m very well acquainted, too, with living solitarily

And confident that everyone can do it temporarily:

Go take a walk, or ride a bike, or dig into an unread book;

Avoid the bars and restaurants and carry out, or learn to cook.

There’s lots of stuff to watch online while keeping safe from sinus ills

(In this case, it’s far better to enjoy your Netflix MINUS chills)!

Adopt a pet, compose a ballad, write some earnest doggerel,

And help demolish Trump before our next event inaugural.

Pandemics are alarming, but they aren’t insurmountable

If everybody pitches in to hold ourselves accountable.

In short, please do your part to practice prudent co-existence-ing,

And be the very model of effective social distancing!

“Yes. If you want him. He's already promised you his soul. You only need to kill his body in order to claim it.”

“But...kill him? I don't know. Perhaps I should wait...”

“You said you didn't want to wait. Besides, the more time that you give him, the more chance he'll have to find a loophole to get out of his bargain. You can't. Trust. Mortals. Clever things, they're always plotting. Give them a couple years and they will find a way trick themselves out of a bargain. Sherlock is yours to take, to own, to use as you will. Why wait when you can have him now?”
