@almostangrything Here ya go, this was fun to do and lets be honest NY would kill Texas if he ever tried to do this while he was awake.

I just cannot wait for the day Lindy Ruff is fired.

I am tired of having the tiny hope I have be taken away every damn game.

I am tired of seeing the players, who are clearly just dun not in the sense that they aren't trying but in the sense that they have gotten used to the disappointment that is this season, be exhausted every game, especially when players like Daws, L. Hughes and literally anyone else who is showing signs of stress clearly aren't playing in tiptop shape.

I am tired of Lindy sounded disappointed any time he is on screen, no matter if we do well or not that game, it's consistent disappointment and disinterest when I hear him talk and it sucks.

I am tired of New Jersey somehow finding a way to be a joke even in the sports world with our ONLY major professional, this team is many people only knowledge of Jersey and yet we are STILL a joke or something to just not be respected.

I am tired of every game where everyone is sure this just HAS to be Lindy's last game and yet somehow he is still there the next time we play, that somehow someway he probably won't be fired till the end of the season and EVEN THEN who knows if he actually will me.

I am tired and over it but I'll still be watching the games, I'll still be there when we lose once again, I'll still be there talking to Sky saying shit about how much I hate Lindy and how he is running this team into the ground, I'll still be complaining about Ruff to my parents because they have to know everything wrong going on.

I'll still be here because just because a team is doing shit doesn't mean you should drop it just because of that, that just shows you weren't actually a fan in my opinion.

I have far too much state pride for my own good because I genuinely love this state and love this team, so I'll stick through the good and the bad, continue to be slightly angry with myself for not being able to get into hockey last year when we were badass.

And I'll still be watching and eventually buy more stuff for the Devils because let's be real, the second that sales drop and the Devs aren't as popular the club isn't stay in Jersey, so might as well support the bastards ya know?

And hey, who knows, maybe one day we shall see Lindy gone and this team flourishing, but until then I'll just keep being sorta upset that we aren't doing as well as we can and drinking my problems away (this is a joke and I promise it's just water, Liquid Death specifically).

So I wanted to get this done immediately, went onto Pinterest for references because while I never use them, references would be the only way I could do this, got distracted looking at hockey memes, went and bothered my father and here we are now...oops?

It's not the best but considering I really didn't have a reference pic for this exact pose, I gotta say I think I did pretty well :D

I have Jersey headcanons and gosh darn it, it's a tad long, so I'm only doing like one page at a time, I'll post the other ones later probably...if I remember. ANYWAY HERE!!

New Jersey

Constantly moving, either tapping his foot or moving his legs, always dancing too, if there’s music he’s moving

He also tends to sing whatever song is on his mind, whether it’s English or not

He knows all of the states comfort foods

Controls the entire StateHouse garden, and is the reason there is a flower garden, if you want a flower in that garden you talk to him to figure out where said flower needs to go and what conditions it needs

He and New Mexico managed to convince Gov to let them have a pool at the StateHouse

When he was learning the south’s comfort foods, he managed to convince Texas to teach him how to make a brisket, yes it’s not really any of the south’s comfort food but it’s a southern thing so of course he needed to learn

When angry he’ll switch into different accents, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, and surprisingly to some, southern

South Jersey is pretty southern, one of his comfort foods is grits

When he hosts NE dinner at his home, he makes sure to add in dishes that are shared favorites

Any and all produce that can be grown in NJ climate, is grown in his back garden with all the accommodation they need

Mafia boss, he doesn’t partake anymore and technically the guy he was is dead but still, the power remains

Used to be a show boy, occasionally still is with Nevada

Just mildly obsessed with roller coasters

During the summer, if he’s not at the shore then he’s most likely at Great Adventure

While it’s not his favorite game, he LOVES to play Just Dance

His room is actually in the south hall instead of the north, he’s between Texas and Oklahoma, he switched with New Mexico because he would have had to be between Penn and Mass and he would rather die than be between that warzone

Has lots of animals on his farm but his favorite are his horses, a few of which he was given by Kentucky

Taught Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio how to play poker and blackjack, the only thing is, is that Jersey taught them how to cheat without them knowing

Jersey never actually cheats in card and money games, he just knows how to play

Stopped talking to Nevada in the 80s because of Atlantic City, Nevada understood it was because they were rivals and also the mafia but it doesn’t stop Jersey from feeling bad about it

Despite what everyone tends to think, Jersey likes to keep to himself and is relativity quiet for the most part, it just so happens that he is normally around people that he either likes (NY, NM, NH, Cali, Rhode, Del) or has strong feelings about (Mass, Penn, NY, Connecticut, Virginia), which makes him loud

Im sick, which means I should (in theory) be able to draw stuff to actually post on here, we shall see

Hiii I'm so sorry that this took so long, I was kinda stumped and was doing other things BUT I did finally get around to it so HERE

California-

He has a lot of hobbies, such as hiking and making loom bracelets, if it exists it was probably a hobby of theirs

Has always been interested in how personifications/states came to be, most just appeared one day, some are related to each other or other countries, while a very small group (pretty much just the OG13 and Louisiana) are related to humans, it’s all very interesting and mildly terrifying to him

Trained marksman, owns two guns but rarely uses them unless their stressed, then it’s off to the shooting range (or ya know, he'll just shut down, honestly him going to the range doesn't happen too often when he's stressed but it is always an option)

Actually pretty close to the Canadian provinces, at least closer to them than they are with most of the states (Alberta scares him though, will never be alone with Alberta)

Loves astrology, knows everything that he can and had tried to get the other states into it but with no success (technically, they actually got Connecticut pretty into the science side of it)

Space cat

Likes to stargaze, occasionally will drag Nevada and Utah out with him, they can’t get Arizona to go unless he is dying

Animal Crossing ruined him and he loves the games so much (New Leaf's their fav)
