I'll forever be a transandrophobia/transmisandry/whatever current term is truther

the fact that transmascs get relentlessly attacked and harassed every single time we try to make something/spaces for ourselves (the mlm flag, transandrophobia as a term, fucking forcemasc) is in and of itself telling of how people view us.

What if you pass really well but you're still horribly dysphoric and depressed ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„. /j

Never forget that the purpose of transitioning is to make you happier not to make you pass!! You may never end up being able to pass but donโ€™t let that take from your happiness.

As someone who fought tooth and nail for my transition, I sometimes need American trans people to respectfully shut up. Like what do you mean you came out one day then started hrt 6 months later? Get out of my sight

Parents gave me a "kayleigh" type of name and getting to change it to something normal may just be the only good thing I gained from being trans

"stop being upset about missing out on a childhood you can live your entire adult life as the gender you want" 1. assuming I'll live "an entire adult life" with this mental state

2. What if I actually want to be an autistic little boy with destructive tendencies but his mom actually still loves him

being a trans man sucks bcs you experience both misogyny and the challenges that come with being marginalized men, while constantly being denied that you experience either. youre a man only when it can be used against you. youre a 'failed woman' otherwise.

If only it worked like that :')

Big part of this is the fact parents often can't let go of their parental role even after they've been an adult for several years. Like tf you mean your 22 year old son has a curfew?

People often compare toxic parents of adult children to toxic roommates, but it's nowhere near the same simply due to the power dynamic parents feel like they have even over their adult children. At least with a toxic roommate you're on the same level of authority, the same can't be said about toxic parents.

there's no shame in continuing to live with your parents as an adult, but it does have an undeniable poisoning effect on your brain that you can't start healing until you live somewhere else

The ground floor apartments in an apartment complex have a vibe to them idk why. They seem cozy for some reason.

I remember my testosterone information thingy said "may cause you to be angry or more irratable, as well as mood swings" bitch you mean puberty? You mean experiencing human emotions??? Wtf

the idea that testosterone is a dangerous hormone that inherently makes someone domineering and difficult to be around is transphobic all round, leaning on bioessentialism.

for trans men and transmascs, we are warned against medical transition for fear that we may lose our agreeableness and perceived passivity. we are seen as potential aggressors after going on it.

trans woman and transfems have any testosterone in their system, whether on hrt or not, held over them like an original sin that can not be escaped that positions them as more aggressive and dangerous. it is seen as something that threatens their womanhood and can be brought up against them at any time to revoke it.

testosterone is not an evil hormone. it does not change your moral character. it does good for some and bad for others, like any other hormone.

And people forget how recent it was that it became socially acceptable for women to be not traditionally feminine. I'd argue it has only been in the past 10 years or so(and that's stretching it majorly), it has become socially acceptable for women to be traditionally masculine, or for girls to act "boy-ish". It really wasn't that long ago

"No one cares if women / transmascs / afab people wear pants and boy clothes!!!"

On my knees begging you to talk to people who grew up in religious fundamentalist communities and high control groups / cults

"there were no signs" as if they didn't solely buy you dresses, pink shirts, and girl toys even if you asked for something else

Being forcefully raised as a woman is not any less traumatic and emotionally repressive as being forcefully raised as a man. Femininity is not inherently pure and safe. Coercing someone to perform femininity is not any less toxic than coerced masculinity. Being dysphoric around femininity or having trauma from women doesnโ€™t make you a misogynist.

Trans & disabled community: "you shouldn't have to proof to anyone you're valid! Fuck the medical system and doctors mistreating us! You don't need proof of your suffering, only you know your true pain!"

Me: "Well puberty blockers caused me to severely suffer, cause issues I still suffer from years later, and nobody ever beliefs me and sweeps my issues under the rug despite having suffered a great number, and still am." Trans & disabled community: "Okay but like, where's the proof? Why didn't you ever tell that to the doctors?* Actually research proofs that is literally impossible. Have you ever considered you might be the issue here? Like did you even listen to your doctors? Maybe you had some underlying condition?" Me: *stares into the camera as if it's the office* * I did alert the doctors to this, but they either refused to examine me, or also told me that what I was suffering from was simply impossible according to research.
