Castle dads trying to contain their giant dog son's bathtime zoomies because when you've got a ton of heavy wet fur it's gonna be UNCOMFYYY as hell!!! good thing the castle has endless space to run. bad thing for the gaggle of tiny objects trying to chase him LMAO
Maybe get Chapeau to handle bathtimes from now on?

BATB Week - Day 3 "Lavender" @beauty-beast-week
(Didnt do the first 2 prompts bc lack of ideas lol so i am starting the week off today! Happy BATB week lets GOO!!!)
For today's prompt "Lavender", I was thinking about Belle's first few nights in the castle. She must've had many sleepless nights, with racing thoughts of nerves and excitement bundled together. Luckily she's roomies with Garderobe who loves a good chat. I like to see the two having occasional late night talks, where Garderobe helps put her mind at ease with spirited words, while sharing her reminiscences of being a singer and a woman again. It is nice for Belle to have some female company in her life for once and I think it's a part of the movie that should be explored a bit.

This is a mini-comic for my AU "Heartflowers" which I guess this post would be a good time to introduce it. It's an AU inspired by the Hanahaki disease where Adam is cursed with a sickness to cough up roses, while the servants are cursed to sprout flowers from their bodies reflecting their mental state.
The main themes of this AU are community and dependence. It focuses mostly on Adam's guilt and self-pity from feeling responsible for the curse, to the point where he completely isolates himself for years to come. Throughout the course of it all, Adam learns to forgive himself and eventually reach out to others for help.
This comic takes place around the first week or so of the curse. I also tried to write the dialogue so it can be applied to their canon characters too.

Thinking of the library scene from the animated Beauty and the Beast.
He's so freaking adorable and excited. He's so excited to give this girl a gift and he really really hopes she likes it.
You just know that the "close your eyes - it's a surprise" was completely spur-of-the-moment too, as he's starting to open the door when he suddenly stops and goes "But first you have to close your eyes." Like, he was about to open the door and lead her in, but then thought wait, but this would be so fun.
And she lets him lead her in... Not only does she do as he asks (and GOOOOD the way he waves a paw in front of her face to make sure she's not peeking and then that SMILE...) but she allows him to take her hands, and she allows him to draw her into the room. She's completely trusting of him, she's not hesitant or resisting, she has no problem closing her eyes and allowing a monster to not only touch her, but to guide her steps without bringing her into possible danger. And she still doesn't peek until he says so - she just eagerly asks if she can look now, but she listens when he says not yet.
And then just that eager, anxious smile he has during the entire rest of the scene, you know he's so hopeful even before he asks "You like it?" and he's so pleased with himself and god damn this movie makes me soft.
