okay this is how i think it plays out. if you could stop trying to get me with the giant hook to pull me off stage for just a minute. stiles stilinski meets The Winchesters and is like "i have GOT to make these old men cry in front of me". derek hale and castiel make miley cyrus blue eyes type of eye contact with each other, Autism Edition. peter hale swans into the room and Thing One and Thing Two (dean and sam) instinctively look behind themselves to make sure crowley isn't around. self preservation instincts. dean tells lydia that she reminds him of his friend charlie (they're both women with red hair) and she immediately diagnoses him with mommy issues and implies his dick doesn't work. scott has to crane his neck up to look sam in the eye and says "oh we don't kill people here :)" while stiles mouths "that's not true" over his shoulder. dean finds out about the time stiles got possessed and is like. Scoff. Only Once? Amateur. and stiles is like "dude why are you bragging about that". you get it.

I ran some calculations and discovered kai has the energy output of 3 nuclear power plants.

In the first episode of season 11, Kai is seemingly able to heat a bell full of water instantly from (presumably) 25 Celsius to 40.

I need a movie where Misha Collins plays a gay angel that falls in love with a bisexual cowboy played by Jensen Ackles. Their names are Cassius and Daniel, Cas and Dan. Jared Padalecki plays Daniel’s younger brother, Samson. It’s a blatant ripoff of SPN. The quality is extremely shitty and the budget was $40. Misha is wearing a pair of shitty $12 angel wings from Amazon and a cardboard halo. Jensen has a water gun instead of a real one. For some reason Samson is a mime, dressed in full mime ensemble, and breaks the fourth wall via miming his frustration about how Daniel and Cassius won’t get together. It has a laugh track and uses those “oohs” and “ahhs” and gasps that were in those early 2000s disney channel shows. Whenever Daniel shoots his gun you just hear Jensen making “pew pew pew pew” noises as red water squirts out.

Dean and Sam hunting together: well that’s the show isn’t it? saving people hunting things etc etc. brotherly moments that make you either go awww or want to throw them off a cliff. practically reading each other’s minds on hunts bc they’ve been doing it for so long. terrible communication any other time

Dean and Cas hunting together: hunter husbands. standing 1.5 inches away from each other at all times. constant bickering constant eye sex constant rifling through each other’s pockets oh god they’re so fucking married

Sam and Eileen hunting together: extremely sweet together. heart eyes while discussing lore and/or tactics. pretending not to be worried about each other because they each really want to respect the other person’s independence and hunting skills.

Cas and Eileen hunting together: murder besties. taking turns beating the shit out of villains while the other person nods approvingly. roasting their boyfriends during stakeouts. mutual agreement not to tell dean and sam how many people they’ve blackmailed.

Dean and Eileen hunting together: sky-high levels of competence. kicking ass left right and center. off-the-charts wittiness. spn would only be 1 season long if it was about these two because they would immediately solve every apocalypse in the most practical way possible and then spend the rest of the season getting drunk together at dive bars.

Sam and Cas hunting together: terrible, terrible idea. the case may get solved but fifty new problems will be created. maximum chaos minimum planning. all ancient curses and alternate dimensions are fair game. cosmic regime changes ARE on the table. 90% chance that one of them ends up in a coma.

After the Deadpool movie came out I watched the series for the first time and now I'm into Spideypool fics. But can someone answer a question for me?

Why does it seem that Peter's humorous personality is never included? Like, he makes no jokes and silly one liners. Basically no self reprimanding but funny comments. He doesn't seem to have his never stop talking-ness that I've come to enjoy. All the humor is given to Deadpool. And it's like that in every fic.

I'm getting upset at this point.

Suptober 23, Day 3 - Inspired

I’m always thinking about lil Dean watching movies in motel rooms & finding safety in knowing that bad guys would lose. (He’s watching Indiana Jones here 💛)

the Sam and Cas Dynamic™️ is like when you’re babysitting little kids and suddenly everything’s quiet and they’re nowhere to be seen and you just Know you’re going to walk in on something Bad. except instead of toddlers you have a 6ft+ approaching middle-aged hunter and a trillion year old eldritch horror who have enough trauma and brain damage between the two of them to make them completely and idiotically feral. and instead of like. drawing on the walls with sharpie. they’re committing willing acts of bodily harm and antagonizing powerful cosmic beings without any actual critical thought

CAS: Sam, may I ask you a question? SAM: Hah! You just did! CAS: *exasperated* Can I ask you another question? SAM: Well, technically you--*sees the murder on Cas's face* — Yeah, go ahead. What's up?

Real dialogue from 9x11, of Cas trying to have an important conversation with Sam and encourage him to talk to his living family. Reminding him that family chooses each other even when the chips are down.

Annoying Sam coming in with the steel chair tho

In the scene that follows Cas is like, "Nothing is worth your life" and "isn't it amazing I've developed empathy now" blahblahblah.

But he still wants to kill Sam sometimes. Both can co-exist.

Day 2: Mental Disability - Autistic Ranpo

I didn't get to doing anything proper for this day, but Autistic Ranpo is featured heavily on Day 7, so keep an eye out for that. (this can sort of be read as the background for that post if you want to know what my personal interpretation is.)

Instead let's talk about some of my Autistic Ranpo Headcanons! (ft. Poe and emotional support animal Karl)

(these are my personal hcs based on my autistic experience and is not reflective of everyone's interpretation and experience of autism <3)

I think Ranpo went undiagnosed until several months of living with Fukuzawa. Because of Ranpo's intellect, no one ever really questioned the things he struggled with until Fukuzawa.

The first time Fukuzawa started thinking there might be something actually up (rather than Ranpo just being Ranpo) was the first time he properly got lost trying to navigate the subway. Ranpo ended up going missing for serval hours 4 towns over and Fukuzawa finally found him curled up on a bench having a meltdown.

Another thing that clued him in was food. Fukuzawa, trying to be the Responsible Adult™️, pushed a little too hard about not having so many sweets. It wasn't until there was a big blow-up fight about it that Fukuzawa understood that Ranpo wasn't just being picky.

It took a little time, but the two of them fell into a rhythm and Fukuzawa became a safe space for Ranpo.

Before the agency was set up properly, Fukuzawa kept stim toys and earplugs in his sleeves for whenever Ranpo needed them. (now he keeps them in his desk drawer)

After getting a diagnosis and settling into the agency, Ranpo manages his autism much better. The agency always has someone there to help him navigate, everyone respects him in spite of his childish demeanor, and he has a very set routine.

When things do get overwhelming, he still has places within the agency to calm down. Fukuzawa will always let him join him for tea in his office. Having made a bit of an adoptive sister in Yosano she let's him chill out in his office if he ever needs any down time (everyone's too scared of her to bother him when he's in there.)

The rest of the agency is good at accommodating him too. Kunikida has no problem using his ability to make stim toys or aids for him whenever they're out on a case. Dazai, while kind of a pain in the ass, gives him some good intellectual stimulation when they hang out that's hard for him to get elsewhere (they're besties you can't convince me otherwise). Atsushi carries around snacks for him. And everyone regardless of who they are will help him navigate transportation.

Eventually he also has Poe who he can either go to or call to come and bring Karl. The author has a really calming presence and having a soft animal to pet and play with always helps.

Speaking of Poe, their first interaction will always haunt him as one of his autistic blunders. Ranpo really respected him as a detective and wanted to complement his skills... but didn't quite realize comparing him to himself would sound like gloating. He's really glad to have met Poe again (even if it was through a 6 year revenge plot).

Poe also understands his autism in a way that most people don't, being autistic himself.

The first time Ranpo had a proper meltdown around Poe was before Ranpo had the chance to explain his autism to him. After calming down, Ranpo was super impressed with how Poe dealt with it and it led to a conversation about both of their experiences growing up and why Poe has Karl as his emotional support animal.

Ranpo also gets headaches frequently. He's never really found a cause, but he suspects his autism has something to do with it.

When he was young and lived with Fukuzawa, Fukuzawa would let him sleep with his head in his lap and play with his hair when things got bad. (He would still let him, but Poe does it most often now)

Day 7: Free Space - Undiagnosed Ranpo & Worried Dad Fukuzawa

For this day I was trying to do something with undiagnosed disability/ chronic illness. I think that most of us have had a time in our lives where we didn't understand what's going on and just wish someone would see what we're going through.

If you yourself are at a point in your disability journey without a diagnosis, please know your experiences are real and valid. Whether you have a diagnosis or not. And I wish all of you luck in your journeys moving forward <3

Thinking about Dean's motif of corruption. "The very touch of you corrupts". Heaven, and Dean himself, see this corruption as rot. Hellfire. Moral decay, and, inevitably, destruction.

However, "corruption" can have other meanings, especially when defined by spn's (or most modern versions of) Heaven. "The very touch of you corrupts" when Cas first touched Dean, something took root. Dean's love, his protectiveness, the rugged life he was more or less forced into, his stubborn insistence, against all odds and in all circumstances, to prioritize family, food, hearth, a safe place to sleep and a planet that won't fall apart on him. Those roots spread- but not in any evil sense.

Tree roots.

Strong and unrelenting and vibrantly green, fed on tears, soil, blood, ash and salt, and on red meat and love. Wriggling through the cracks in Cas' celestial being, curling around the divine light and leaving rich earth behind it. Is it corruption? Is it decay? Yes. But nothing, angel or demon or antichrist or anything else, that Dean touches can help but become a creature of Earth. Most humans don't notice, humans are already Earthly beings, and most monsters are as well. Angels though?

Heaven and Hell are two sides of the same coin. The opposite of both is Earth- Earth with no care given to an afterlife, kindness and love existing for its own sake, no hypotheticals. Dirt, rot, messiness, food, hunger, tiredness, laughter, love.

and that scares the SHIT out of Heaven

they've seen angels fall, either living as humans or truly Falling, their grace charred and covered by hellfire

they've never seen one turn into a physical being before. even an angel reborn as a human is still an angel. Cas isn't becoming human. He's still an angel, but-

if the other angels can see the roots piercing through his true form, churning through grace like a sapling in new soil

what other word would they have but "corruption"?

Well, now. How about that. Ben Edlund tweeting about metaphysical concepts he used while brainstorming spn. Ideas that have been part of the show a long time, there's been plenty of meta posted about these concepts btw. Something some fans were mocked for pointing out and analyzing those concepts in relationship to story, characters, relationships, and themes.

It's all about the souls. It has been for a long time on spn.

Screaming crying laughing. Dean's soul becoming angel 2.0.

This is what I meant when I've talked about how recontextualizing can repair a story (we don't know if Ben is going to be involved in the revival or not, but these are canonical concepts already in use in spn since Kripke era, which got more obvious in late seasons, and Ben's takes are making me tingly).

Even if no hard retcon, adding to the story, expanding, movement forward can help repair shortfalls in execution and ease for some fans the disappointments and hurt of the aired ending.

NoHome is so utterly fucked for everything it does like. What do you mean Haejoon and Eunyung see each other as extensions of their mothers because they’re so deprived of motherly affection they’re helpless to the urge to project onto anyone that offers even a modicum of affection and understanding to them. But because of their dramatically different outlooks on family due to growing up in supportive, yet dysfunctional, versus outright abusive, households, Haejoon looks to Eunyung as a place of support to haphazardly fill the gaps his mothers loss carved in him, while Eunyung looks to Haejoon as a larger than life, inaccessible monolith of morality that he can never appease and must always be afraid of. And because of these juxtaposed views of one another they can never truly begin to understand each other despite knowing the most about one another compared to everyone else in their lives. With every step that molds them closer to each other there’s another barrier put up that prevents them from ever actually touching the others heart. What if I died.
