I sorta like it. I just wonder if it'll be a bit too disruptive. Guess I'll find out 2 years from now when I actually put it in the game and playtest it lol
reposting everything kinda sucks, but like I haven't been making a lot of new content while I've been focusing on the story so hopefully, this will hold over? maybe. I should work on my game more.
I call em isosprites since they are isometric sprites. Off all the art in my game I like these the most, yet I never want to spend time making more of them. I guess ill get all the time in the world to make them if I can get passed this project's pre-production phase (I'm sorta close... maybe I should make a checklist...) sneaky peeky behind the scenes
Proof of concept, not sure if it will have any mechanical functions beyond maybe decreasing movement and jump speed and removing the ability to dash. I really need to get on making assets for snowy areas... I need to make more assets in general actually. Thank you to the super genius who posted this shader on godotshaders.com. This is practically witchcraft to me.
Enemy design is delightful, but it's better if I come up with a story first... did you know writing is hard? I literally have to learn everything when it comes to this and it's nuts that some of it was actually taught in school but I didn't listen.
Both of these ended up getting scraped. oof
Needs some VFX, but at least how I built my system lets me turn any rigid body into something you can push around like this. Just need to set up another system to encourage you to move stuff around...
okay, not gonna like this is cool, how the heck did I program this.
A blog for a game about a rather peculiar exam. Made in Godot Engine!
