What a wonderful question! As we don't actually see the backs of litg character, it gives us a lot of leg room for headcanons! Considering the...Calibre, of Marshall's tattoos, I'm sure there'd be a littany of very sophisticated, mature options that *certainly* don't give the malicious haste of Light Yagami scrawling into the death note. Bangers include:
"My brother stabbed me here" right at the centre of his back in old English font.
Gangster spongebob on his left shoulder blade and lola bunny getting spanked on his other one.
A bumper sticker of a skull and crossbones because he's proper edgy

And like a big scary knife because he's so scary and edgy. Probably a sephiroth backpiece thrown in?
