“i wasn’t staring at you,” kevin defends himself. at least not intentionally. if his gaze happened to wander in neil’s direction while he was semi spacing out, that’s not his fault. “i was thinking.”

    it’s  just  been  few  hours  since  they  clashed  in  the  court,   and  still,   the  adrenaline  hasn’t  washed  off  completely  even  when  neil  took  a  shower  afterwards.

                                   ‟     And I suppose   STARING   might be a requirement ?     ❜      he  goads  involuntarily,   sarcasm  already  underway  right  after  catching  himself.    kevin  is  not  the  enemy  here;   no  one  else  is,   after ...   well,   the  finals.    he’s  becoming  more  aware  on  how  he’s  picking  up  andrew’s  unpleasant  moods  quicker;   except  his  own  temper  flares  brighter,   adding  fuel  to  the  fire.    

    so  neil  takes  a  deep  breath  and  exhales  slowly  as  he  cools  his  head  down  ——
