Countryhumans: Egypt and MJ

I made this edit last Sunday of this thumbnail I saw on YouTube of Ankha and MJ in his "Remember the Time" outfit. So, I thought of editing it of Egypt as Ankha and my CH MJ. I edit the background as well of an Ancient Egyptian wall image.

*Don't worry, Egypt's not going to do anything bad to MJ, unlike what Ankha did to the Villager if you know what I mean lol*

Just a little Photoshop edit I did of MJ as a Countryhuman with the African American flag colors and the number 50 on the canton, to make him look "realistic". The photo I used was of him at Christian Audigier's 50th birthday party in May 2008, just a year before MJ's death.

Countryhumans: North Korea in Family Guy

I made this on November 5, 2023.

I had this funny idea where North Korea is in Family Guy. It's based on the scene where Stewie is a gremlin and Brian's trying to change him back. He gets a phone call from a North Korean general yelling "STEWIE" and responds "No Stewie".

Countryhumans: North Korea Doodle

I was at my grandparents' house that morning with my mom to visit them. We ate breakfast they made. I got bored after and decided to draw a doodle of North Korea and Kim Jong-Un on a napkin. I wrote his name in Spanish so that my grandparents understood it. I like how it came out.

Countryhumans: Saudi Arabia and Iran

Drew this in October 2023 and finished it on July 24, 2024.

These are my designs of Saudi Arabia and Iran. I wanted to make Saudi Arabia as the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, or MBS, and Iran as the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei. I was going to make Iran’s beard similar to Ali’s but it would take forever to draw out the details of each hair and also wanted to make him more middle-aged than old-aged. Love how it went.

Countryhumans: RIP MJ Tribute

Drew this on June 26, 2024, a day late.

I had this idea of doing a Michael Jackson tribute art in Countryhumans to commemorate the 15th anniversary of his passing on June 25, 2009. I drew the CTE outfit he wore in the '90s and added angel wings and a halo with a ghost glow effect like his soul/spirit.

I also drew my own statehumans designs of Indiana (male), the state he was born in, Gary, where his music career began, and California (female), the state where he had his Neverland Ranch home and died in Los Angeles. They are both hugging him with tears, saying their goodbyes to him.

I also added the end lyrics of his favorite song "Smile" like he's singing it to them, as a reminder of him being gone but his spirit and legacy lives on.

Countryhumans: The Commanders of Gilead

Drew this back in December 2022 and finished it on April 13, 2024.

I wanted to draw the Commanders of Gilead from Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale in Countryhuman style. I wanted to make them as accurate as possible. *Yes, I also added Donald Trump because for my headcanon I'm working on for the Hulu series' alternate history, he's a Commander in Gilead* I previously drew my first Gilead design back in November 2022. At first, I liked it but now I don’t like the head since most Countryhumans have round heads like Countyballs. So, when I drew the Commanders, I wanted to make them more human-like heads than round but keep the style of Countryhumans like the white eyes

Countryhumans: Michael Jackson

Drew this from January 28 to March 8, 2024.

Since I'm a fan of Michael Jackson and his songs, I had this interesting idea of, "What if I drew Michael Jackson as a Countryhuman?" I drew it and I liked how it went. I drew the different eras of him. First, I did the young MJ when he was part of the Jackson 5 in 1969. Then, did the Thriller MJ in 1982. Finally, his mature era when he announced his This Is It concert at the O2 Arena in London, UK on March 5, 2009, 3 months before his death on June 25, 2009. *Yes I added his nose for his mature era*

I used the African American flag with black stripes for skin and white stripes for 2009 MJ when he had vitiligo that changed the pigmentation of his skin, but still has his African American heritage, just only the green canton and red stripes. It took me about 26 hours to color it in on IbisPaintX but it was worth it.

Statehumans OC: Zackzona the Arizonan

Drew this on November 17, 2023. I wanted to draw myself as a Statehuman OC of my home state Arizona. I added the flag of my home city, Mesa on my hat. As well as, adding a Countryhuman female Japan as a Maneki-Neko on my shirt since I do have a shirt like that. I wanted to make her Kawaii.

Countryhumans: Republic of Gilead

Drew this a while back on November 22, 2022. This is the Republic of Gilead or simply just Gilead. He’s the fictional country from Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale. I wanted to draw him as a Countryhuman since I saw how popular the fandom is. I joined in to draw Gilead in CH style and gave him a bio. The person I based him on is Commander Fred Waterford, played by Joseph Fiennes.

For those who don’t know much about The Handmaid’s Tale, it’s based on the 1985 novel by Margaret Atwood. It’s set in a dystopia where the world suffers from low birth rates due to pollution that causes a fertility crisis. In the US, a Christian fundamentalist group called the Sons of Jacob or SOJ, a Puritan Christian group, violently did a coup in Washington DC on President's Day, by killing the President, Congress, and the rest of the Cabinet, to overthrow the US government. They seized power and transformed the former US into the Republic of Gilead, a totalitarian patriarchal Christian theocracy that rules most of the former continental US. They strip away women’s rights and make them handmaids to be impregnated by their Commanders, who are the leaders of Gilead, for their barren wives. Their laws are based on the Bible, mainly the Old Testament for the authoritative laws against women.

In the Hulu series, it does the same element as the book but it is set in an alternate 2014 where the SOJ did the coup in Washington DC on September 11, 2014, by staging a terrorist attack to kill President Obama, Congress, and the Cabinet. The SOJ blamed the attack on Islamic extremist groups for the attack, quite possibly ISIS at the time of 2014. They then removed women's rights by first firing them, leaving them unemployed, freezing their bank accounts, not allowed to own property, and finally a nationwide abortion ban. All of these led to a 2nd Civil War from 2014 to 2017, as the setting for Season 1 of the series.

I already finished watching the series back in February 2023. I'm still waiting for the release of Season 6, which won't come out until next year due to the writer's strike last year. My mom got me hooked to watch this show. I mainly watched it for its alternate history since it talked about a fictional 2nd American Civil War.

It's a good show to watch. I highly recommend watching it as it parallels how US politics are right now.
