aki likes rolling over and seeing your sleeping face in the mornings. he likes your puffy face, your cheeks squished as your head rests on the pillow beside him. he likes how your hair gets unruly and sticks out. he brushes it back slowly, soft strokes as you keep sleeping. he traces a finger across your jawline, his thumb grazing your chin. he wants to kiss you but doesn’t. he knows his kiss will wake you. he stays in bed, elbow propped up, watching you sleep. the sheets are warm from the both of you. the curtains are slightly open, letting the soft light of morning seep in, making the room glow. you’re both safe in his bedroom, shut in from the rest of the world that is slowly waking up. he doesn’t want to leave.
