I've seen alot of opinions on this matter but I wanna share my own and my reasoning.
Wearing gear of your type counts as transspecies if wanted to be. Say a transgender person wore a packer and you said that doesn't count as transgender...fucked up right? In my opinion transspecies is just like transgender but with your species. Transgender people can call themselves transgender without transitioning and transspecies creatures can aswell. I have future plans to transition gender and species and im not too open about the transspecies part but just because im not transitioned now doesn't mean im any less transspecies. Take for example if a person doesn't have enough money to actually species transition and only has gear to ease their mind and someone tells them that its technically not transspecies..that would hurt, right?

Booping Guide for the Boopers:
-on desktop if you hover for two full rotations over the boop button it'll send a super boop
-on desktop if you hover for MORE than two full rotations over the boop button it'll send an EVIL BOOP
-the mobile version maxes out at MAX for both given and received boops, which i think is 1000 boops each but i may be wrong
-the desktop version goes on after MAX through LOL OMG WOW *-* WHY PLZ AAA ;_; 0_0 T_T <33 and then TUM (given) and BLR (received). I have no idea how many boops are in a TUM-BLR but im gonna say its A LOT.
-you can boop yourself through booping laundering schemes but the boops booped wont count towards your final TUM-BLR count, instead it'll revert to MAX for a while until you boop enough legit boops again
-on mobile if you open the notification for 15+ boops received you can spam boop people by clicking in the same spot forever and ever, because you can align the boop button with the boop pop up, making the process much easier on your poor hands
-you can multiple boop if you're fast enough and get more clicks onto that boop pop up
-if you out out of boops you can always opt in again, the boop count won't be lost dont worry
-it seems it's going to be booping time until all the world has passed april 1st, here is 2am on april 2nd and i still have booping powers
-i have absolutely no idea what the global counter is supposed to be counting. It goes higher or lower but for what idk
-there only seem to be 3 booping badges, at 1, 30 and 300 boops given more or less
-tumblr dot com has been crashing all day at various hours, especially on desktop, so beware

HOW TO BOOP
(For mobile)
Evil boop is easiest to get a hi5 because there are 4 paws on screen at once.
Evil boop = hold boop button until it spins in 1 circle, stops, spins the opposite direction, and stops.
Superboop = hold the boop button until it spins in 1 circle and stops
Boop = tap the paw, click the button (animation shown below)
If you tap the paw when it comes out you hi5 the cat.
To get started: Tap the home button and scroll to the top to opt in to boops. You'll see a halloween themed boop-o-meter. Mine was white, now it is pumpkin. Click it to opt in.
Next step, visit a friend with boops turned on. Click or hold the paw button to bring up a pop up with a boop button.
Final step, check notifications for people that boop you. If you want more boops, reblog boop related posts with tags like #tumblrboops #boop
I know there are several posts like mine, but from the bottom of my heart, I want to say I genuinely love the tumblr alterhuman n nonhuman community so much, for just having so many people that are open about being themselves. As a being who discovered it was nonhuman a while back, and went through alot of toxic therian communities filled with misinfo before finding tumblr communities n blogs like the ones I see now, it's a spectacular thing to witness.

Nonhuman expressions of affection are great. Purring. Exposing weak points as a show of trust. Head bonks. Preening and chewing. Nuzzling. Biting. Intertwining tails. Feeding each other. Little chuffs, chatters, beeps and squeaks. Fluffing up of feathers, fur or other things. Dancing to impress. Cleaning their fur, scales, feathers or skin. Sharing body heat. Ears pointing toward those you care about to show your full attention is on them. Slow blinking.

To all of the transspecies creatures mentioning growing out their claws: taking biotin will make them stronger and less likely to break. I am not sure if it makes them grow faster or if that is my imagination. I have been filing them carefully into points, and while they do break, it is not constant.
Do be careful, though. Whenever you scratch an itch, you have to remember that your claws are sharp and will cause real damage if you do not pay attention. I am making this post because I did not pay enough attention to the sharpness of my claws, and the pain reminded me that others may make this mistake as well.
If you do end up getting cut, please be sure to wash with soap and water, and keep an eye on it in case of infection. If there is an infection, tell a parent and/or go to a doctor.
And one more thing: long claws mean that things can get caught on them or stuck under them more easily. So if you are like me and enjoy sewing, be careful, because needles hurt when they get under your nails. (I will be fine, do not worry)
