Long time headcanon of mine:

During the super sons era Damian turned Jon vegetarian. He lectured Jon the farm boy that he is that he's eating his animal friends and terrify Jon.

"What do you mean I'm eating a cow?! I have a cow in my family farm I know😭"

"Yeah by eating that stake you're eating your Nancy! And also Batcow!"

Damian would definitely use Jon's big heart and his shared love for animals to get him stop eating meat (good for him!).

In the spirit of this holiday (it's Passover rn) I have a question for queer people of different cultures/ religions/ groups around the world.

Do your culture/ religion have specific traditions/ customs for LGBTQ people?

There's a relatively new Jewish tradition in Passover of including an orange on the Sedder plate to represent and support LGBTQ people.

It got me thinking if other cultures have things like that as well.

Do you have any specific traditions/ slangs/ symbols in your culture to represent queer people?

I couldn't find enough information online so I would love to hear from you about your diffrent cultures!

"but aroaces can still feel lo-" shut up. it doesn't matter if we can feel love or not. why is this always your defense to why aroaces should be valid? it gets even worse with alloaces and alloaros. people constantly saying "aces can still have sex!!" and "aros can still have love and have partners!!" YES, they can, but you aren't bringing that up just to bring awareness towards aroaces. No, you are using that fact as a way to ignore and condemn the part that makes us aroace; the lack of attraction. I'm sick and tired of seeing aces and aros have to defend themselves by bringing up all the other ways they can love. Why can't we for once celebrate the parts of us that DON'T love?

I don't think Bukzo's circus is necessary mostly made out of the same type of imps?

I don't see any logic or reason to have just one type.

We didn't see a lot of the circus, we can't really know about the majority of the circus we didn't see them yet.

I think it makes sense mixed breeds would join a circus because they're less accepted by society but I don't think they're just one type of mixed breed.

Why the hell does Blitz have those weird spike things on his tail and back??? No one else has them. It might just be the type of Imp he is, (I think Striker called him a Bull Imp?) But Fizz is the same type and he doesn't have them???

Like I said, there aren't any rules of being mixed. Myself Blitz is also mixed with something else as well?

Blitz is probably mixed, it's implied in the plot. And there aren't any rules to how mixed people should look like. It's possible they're the same type but look different if they're of a mixed breed.

And do you have any proof Fizzarolli is also mixed? I didn't see anyone mentioning that /Gen, I'm just curious.

From what I could understand there was no information about Fizz's parents or where he came from, correct me if I'm wrong. (I wish there was more information I'm dying to know)

One of the main things that annoys me in Helluva Boss (among the other problems of the show) is that they make Striker and his ideas look ridiculous but he actually got a fucking point.

His whole point is literally just being a low class person who wants equal rights. He's right- the rich and powerful abuse the poor, the system is rigged against his people, it's not fair.

Yeah Ozzie and Stolas are good, it doesn't mean they're not part of the problem of social hierarchies. They're not actively trying to change things, they're letting the problem still happen- even if they have a soft spot for Blitz and Fizz.

The system still sucks. And it's working against imps.

But he's a joke of a villain, his ideas not taken seriously and not explored beyond the first episode he appeared in.

He's not treated seriously as a character.

He's wrong in his ways of execution, but I admit- the man has a point.

He doesn't come close to being my favorite character from the show, the amount the show made him look ridiculous made me dislike him.

Liked him in the first episode but after it he was just an eh. But he has a fucking point.

Update: I have discovered that the other character I like was also because of hidden deep trauma that made me relate to them.

So many people are baffled by Alastor using the slang word tea.

I just want to mention this slang comes from African American Vernacular English, specifically originated from LGBTQ+ culture, black drag queens to be specific.

He's an African American queer person using a slang started by the African American queer community.

Fizzarolli checked what was going on with Blitzo all this years? I know he just used it to hurt him but listen to me-

There is no way he could've known the fact that his current love life are shit if he didn't at least bothered to check the details in the news about Blitz's love life dating a superstar.

He kept updating about him.

Asmodeus said to Blitz during last episode that he lived in Fizz's head all this years.

My heart breaks when I think about how Fizz probably searched information online about Blitzo as a way of self destruction, can't stop thinking about his old-friend-now-enemy making himself miserable in the process.

I'm so glad Fizzarolli and Blitz made up now! I love their friendship and their dynamic now.

But yeah Blitz fucked Fizz up (and not in a fun way), he must have gone through many years of agony over it.

I'm so excited for the next episode!

Lucifer can shape shift, he can theoretically be at any hight he wants. He just chooses to be the short king that he is.

I love that about him.

A confession-

I shipped radioapple before the show even came out (I preferred Alastor aro but if I had to choose a ship for him it would have been with Lucifer). Originally Vivzie said she thinks they'll get along well. I thought they already knew each other and they'll have chemistry.

Totally not anticipated their beef or a full song to prove who was the ultimate dad😭

Velvette's whole personality is just being a brat with an attitude, yet she's my second favourite character in Hazbin out of all of these amazing relatable and developed characters.

Lucifer is very powerful, it's just that sinners don't respect him so much.

He mostly isolates from the public in his depression he he isn't currently at a place of being a "firm ruler"

I think Lilith is more supposed to fill that part.

When Lilith was gone the little respect that was for royalty probably faded even more.

Sinners don't respect Lucifer and Charlie so much. They're technically royalty but they're not much of an authority figure in hell.

They mostly just keep it to themselves so they don't have a reputation to fear from and respect it.

The fact that some of the demon overlords kept calling Charlie “Lucifer’s bitch of a daughter” made my jaw drop

makes me think…maybe Lucifer doesn’t like to command authority, just like Charlie, so no one is scared of him

Spirit World going viral on twitter with the comic panels of Constantine respecting his non binary friend's pronouns just confirmed to me that most of the people who claim to love the character know nothing about him. "John Constantine has gone woke", a lot of people say.

You mean, the Constantine who kicked the shit out of Nazis on his early comics? The one reminding you how much he hated Margaret Thatcher? The one who was teased as a queer character since his creation in the 80s and was confirmed as bisexual in the 90s? The one who lost gay friends during the aids crisis and the one who despises cops? The former punk who has voted the Labour Party all his life?

You mean, are you surprised THAT character is "woke" now? If you are disappointed, that's on you.

A question that doesn't leave my head-

In Lazarus Planet Dark Fate Xanthe mentioned that Cass is the only bat in this side of town, "this" referring to Chinatown.

Did the Batfamily when dividing Gotham who-covers-what while patrolling just gave Cass Chinatown because she is Asian? Or did Cass chose it herself?

Not an Asian person here, but this is from what I know about Cass.

She didn't really grow up connected to her heritage and her people, I don't believe David, her white father, taught her anything about her heritage. So she might not feel that connected this place and her people. And she was only handed this part of town.

It makes sense to have an organized division of Gotham to cover for patrols where everyone is assigned their own part of town to cover. I can see it happening.

And I can see her choosing this place herself because looking at people who looks like her makes her feel belong, she chose this place herself to go away a little from everyone.

I'm just guessing.

I feel it would be funny if she was just assigned Chinatown because she's Asian, Bruce having no sensitivity about this type of thing and is just naively blunt, but I prefer the second explanation in story terms more.

I didn't notice any people talking about the League of super pets comic that is in the background??

I thought this detail was super cute. I love this type of easter eggs in comics I wish more comic artists would make small references like.

I wish there was a second League of Super pets movie. I think this movie was great and DC need to produce more of this type of content.

The urge to adopt several pets and name them after the Batfamily pets (specifically the animals that are the same like the comics, creating the characters in real life) is so strong.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll ever find a dragon bat to call him Goliath :(

I want Goliath so bad.

Also forget naming your human kids after characters, I plan to name my pets after fictional characters.

This is my list of a potential candidates I would like to see in a Teen Titans team:

Crush, daughter of Lobo. Half alien half human, full chaotic.

Tefé Holland, daughter of Swamp Thing. Super powerful super teen angst.

Anita Fite/Empress (I just need her to return somewhere in DC)

Harper Row/Blue Bird. Much more original bat choice than adding the same Robin or Batgirl again.

Galaxy, an alien superhero. She's such a cool character I hope she'll get more explored.

Alysia Yeoh/Batgirl. (She was originally supposed to be Batgirl. DC I beg you to go back to that storyline and make it happen).

Connor Hawk/Green Arrow. I think he would make a great team leader.

Static Shock (no actual reason I just think it would be cool to see him).

The Aerie. I know people consider them terrorist but they are just an extremist activist. Yes they kill people but they mostly fight currapt politicians and bad people. They are so cool and I think they would get along well in a team.

(and Bette Kane might be a nice touch to add as well, same reason as Anita).

Unconventiona list? Yes. Am I completely delirious and daydreaming? Absolutely. But those are my top choices of characters I think would be interesting to see in a Teen Titans team.

AI is really showing it's racism.

I saw a series of AI photos based on books description vs. the movies version of the Hunger Games characters.

It made Cinna a white blonde European man while the only thing that was ever described about Cinna's physical appearance in the books was his eyes.

The AI automatically filled the gaps of information with white blonde man that frankly looked so boring.

I'm not surprised by the fact that AI is racist and is making shitty art I'm just surprised about how fucking blant it's racism is. It's not even trying to hide it.

I heard there were people who complained Cinna's casting was "blackwashing"??? His colour was never described in the books stfu.

I personally always imagined Cinna as poc years before I even heard there were movies (I specifically imagined him Asian for some reason, with gorgeous dark hair). His casting choice as poc made perfect sense for me.

He is supposed to stand out between all the capitol people who are mostly rich classist prejudice people so yeah making him poc is a great way of making him stand out and more unic, contrast him to the other prejudice people.

Making him another white blonde European man would be so fucking boring.

I feel like people forgot that redemption arc doesn't mean making the fans forgive the character.

Redemption arc is a process of a character actively trying to change their ways in order to redeem themselves from their past dids.

It's not just "I did bad things but I'm good now" (AHEM CATRA FROM SHE-RA).

If I killed a person but saved a life it does not compensate the life I took, I'm not "redeemed".

I LOVE good redemption stories but sometimes I feel like society forgot what redemption arc stands for. A lot of times it became to just making a bad character do good things so people will like/forgive them, not an actual redemption.
