I may have another au for the turtles.
I call it A Kraang Story! (No I will not explain why) it is a combination of rise and 2012, and it’s a separation au! FUN!
It starts out like this, Hamato Yoshi out living his best life as a semi famous B-list actor gets yoinked by the kraang for funky experiments. He’s turned into the shaggy rat man we all know and love and thrown into containment where he meets 4 toddler sized turtles. They latch onto him looking for warmth and Splinter decides then and there there that these are his children, and he’s going to escape to give them a life outside of containment.
So he hatches a plan
And the plan goes terribly.
Leo is taken from Yoshi for more experimentation, he has to decide between loosing his one window for escape or loosing Leo to the kraang.
Splinter chooses to escape. He leaves Leo behind running out of the facility with three wailing toddlers and into the sewers where they live for about a year. He fells guilty for leaving Leo but has convinced himself it was the correct choice and mourns as if there was nothing he could have done differently.
A year after their escape the gangs lair is raided and set aflame by shredder, who works closely with the kraang. Mikey is thought to be lost to the blaze and Raph is stolen by shredder. Splinter only makes it out with Donnie and is devastated. He takes after rise splinter with his depression arc and Donnie wanting nothing more that to cheer him up. He eventually stops trying after numerous failed attempts. He does make a friend in April after a brief encounter on the surface.
They boys all meet up again in their teens each different ages. Leo and Donnie are twins because I love the disaster twins too much lol.
Leo & Donnie: 16

Each of the boys are also a different breed of turtle:
Leo: Diamond back terrapin and Leatherback sea turtle (mixed by extensive kraang experiments)
Donnie: spotted softshell turtle
Mikey: Eastern Box turtle
Raph: common snapping turtle

A concept for the Options Menu in this non existent game.
a ladder with things of Brightness, Help, key settings and other. clicking on the ladder board will take you "up" the ladder to the respective option.
there is also "Memories" written in the flowers in the top right. clicking on it will take you to the "Memory Tree" Where you can see all the "Memories" you have collected
Memories are seen as little white glowing butterflies you can find across the chapters hidden is secret places or in pain sight. collecting all butterflies will reveal the story of how they got separated in the first place.

Mikey just chilling on a swing in the overgrown abandoned park.
this is probably the first interactable part of Mikey's Chapter in the game. or it would be a hidden part in one of the puzzle early in his chapter. Also swings are a reoccurring theme in his chapter, he can swing on the chain ninpo, and you would see a lot of swings in the chapter that may or may not be part of the puzzles.
For my Limbo Tots au. an idea for a game that I'm never going to make for a lot of reasons. Each character (Raph, Leo, Donnie, Mikey, April, Casey Jr and maybe Cass) have their own chapter of puzzles that they would go through to get home.
also LIMBO is a game i really like and based this au to be a sort of crossover between rise and that game.

Anyway it’s 3AM so I’m gonna go sleep- started working on a poster for an episode concept but having some troubles on where to place this one part of it so gonna mess with that more in the morning and then colour before posting :D it’ll be shaded btw, tried not to shade any of the concept art cause I wanted to make sure the exact colours were completely visible but now I can start shading stuff hehe 💪💪💪💪

I have no idea what I’m gonna name the iteration yet but I’ll get to that at some point- in the meantime I’m just gonna continue designing and writing notes on the sillies!!!
