When a side character starts getting more interesting than the main character
Yeahhh, c'mon 😂🔥🔥
don’t accept criticism that your characters aren’t ‘strong enough’ from anyone who wouldn’t be able to beat them in a fistfightÂ
Suicide mission ðŸ˜ðŸª¦
Writers when they finally finish their first draft after months of hard work, blood, sweat and tears 🥹
Screaming relief 😩
Writing is just staring at a blank page until your anxiety overpowers your procrastination.
Writers when it's time to write their New Year Resolutions knowing that finishing their WIP is taking the #1 spot 😩
I don't even do outlines anymore, but this still happens. Planning means nothing; never has.
I just want to have my Rapunzel kinda tower with books and food and a lovely scenery with no people...is that too much to ask? ðŸ˜

Yeah I understand that sometimes our characters can have a mind of their own but sometimes you just gotta rein in control. I definitely can't imagine reading a ten-page argument about cheese. It's highly unnecessary. If they terribly need to banter about cheese, make it short for the sake of your readers and get. back. into. the. plot.🙂.
I AM TRYING TO WRITE A SIMPLE SCENE BUT APPARENTLY EVERY CHARACTER HAS DECIDED TO BECOME AN EXPERT IN BANTER AND DERAIL THE PLOT. HOW DID THIS TURN INTO A 10-PAGE ARGUMENT ABOUT CHEESE?? WHO IS IN CHARGE HERE (IT’S NOT ME)!!!!!!!!!????????
Reblog if you're a writer who re-reads their own work for funsies.
