i know steve couldn’t do anything because it would fuck with the timeline or something but it’s so depressing thinking about how he went back to a time when he knew bucky was being controlled by hydra and didn’t help him out
sam wilson has become one of those characters that i was pretty neutral on when they were first introduced but people give them so much unwarranted hate that ive been pushed into being an avid defender and now they’re genuinely my favorite character
honestly props to Bucky for being such a whore that everyone falls in love with him even though he has definitely tried to kill all of them at some point
Am I the only one who was panicking so hard about the fact that Sam and Bucky were in new movies SEPERATE from each other with no hints of crossing over? Am I the only one who was worried we were getting a divorce arc after the domestic bliss we received at the end of Falcon and the Winter Soldier?
The way sighed (screamed) in relief when I saw Sam and Bucky in Brave New World and they were still best friends (lovers).
I am so glad Marvel are actually giving me content on my newest and biggest ship in the Marvel universe
lots of people saying bucky’s shame room would be torture as the winter soldier but it’s actually that one scene in civil war when he beats up steve cause he doesn’t recognize him
my biggest hater will always be the girl that said she shipped Bucky and Yelena and said Steve’s ending was cute then acted like I was insane and actually recoiled when I said I ship Sam/Bucky and Steve/Bucky💔💔
post credit scenes aren’t TECHNICALLY canon right???
even from a platonic standpoint(to me they were in love but everyone is allowed to think what they like (but they were in love(I swear))) Steve leaving Bucky, his best friend since childhood who he was always been there for and who is the only person with remotely the same life experience, for a girl he knew for like a year is so fucking depressing like he fully gave up on Bucky and that feels so out of character but it’s somehow canon????
“I’m a hufflepuff”
“Naw BITCH you work at staples”
I have awoken more to watch SNL
bucky barnes core
Spoilers ahead obviously....
Sambucky is canon in the shippiest way. They're not officially a couple but they're also not "not a couple".
They're either already married or building the longest slow burn in MCU history. And this has been the case since Avengers: Endgame.
The only difference now is that everyone seems to acknowlegde it. The fandom (whether they're Sambucky shippers or not) , but also the writers.
At first I found it weird how Sam didn't have have any love interest in the MCU but now it seems deliberate. I also doubt Bucky will have a love interest in Thunderbolts.
It's heavily implied that they're eachother's love interest. Them staring at a sunset together, them doing a soul gazing during couples therapy, the pictures in Sam and Joaquin's HQ, them throwing the L word any chance they get , ... It's getting a little less subtle each time.
Bucky went to be with Sam because he knew he needed him, he comforted him, gave him a pep talk and then told him he loved him.
No Sambucky shipper would have ever imagined those words would ever be said to each other.
TL,DR: Sambucky isn't canon, but it's not "only a fanon ship" either. It has left the fandom sphere, I feel like Sambucky is an "official" ship. They know it exists and they care about it, they are nurturing it and hopefully they're planning to let it flourish.
