I cannot write dnd smut at work so I’ve settled for doing the other half of my dnd homework today - attempting to write tasteful poetry… arguably harder considering I’m not really a big poetry fan

I’m so weak rn,,, Liùsaidh could heal him,,, your honor, oh holy god that is our dm, please let them go get the best bread that this man has ever tasted with her. They deserve it as a little treat 🥺 I’m drawing this man as soon as I’m done packing up and moving

Alphonse Mucha - arguably the most obvious influence with art nouveau, if you’ve seen fanart of characters in elaborate nature-themes frames that was his whole shtick

(though interestingly he considered his most important work the Slav Cycle, twenty massive paintings—i’m talking dimensions from thirteen to twenty six feet—that i have to mention because i had the pleasure of actually seeing a couple in person)

J. C. Leyendecker - couple descending staircase and couple dancing are frequently used reference images and rightfully so, he has a more grounded style than mucha but it’s still rich with detail

Erté - lots of stylization but leaning towards 1920s aesthetics and bolder colors and contrasts

(i will endeavor to add more later but right now i’m very tired so i’ll try to go sleep)
