Is it normal if I hate my other personalities/alters? I don’t know what to call them, but I hate them. It feels like they’ve stolen my life from me. I don’t even have any names for them, they just stay in my body that I want to myself, begin torturing me by telling me things I should do or how I should react or just trying to take my body away from me, and when they do I don’t even remember. I haven’t seen any other systems like this and it kinda makes me feel like I’m a faker even though I’ve been diagnosed. :(

hello, my name is equinox. i'm a multiply disabled intersex trans person who deals with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, hypermobile ehler's danlos syndrome, arthritis, IBS, and other health problems. i am currently saving up for august's rent- due to my disabilities, i cannot hold down a 'formal' job. it has been dangerously hot where live, being routinely in the 90's, getting up into the 100s which has made it difficult to do just about anything, let alone work.
i am recovering from a 6 month period of homelessness where 2 months were spent living in a motel. between having to pay for 2 month's worth of nights in a motel and having to attempt to furnish my apartment has been very financially draining- it's been very difficult to keep up with the expenses that come with setting up a new place. fortunately, my rent is cheap due to being based off of my earned income:

trans gwen is so canon like you can't tell me that her having the trans flag colors around her while she's TALKING ABOUT HAVING TO HIDE HER IDENTITY wasn't intentional. “oh but its just the colors of her suit” okay?? that doesn’t mean it can’t imply multiple things.
her dad also has a trans flag on his jacket
like, i highly doubt a cis parent with a cis child would have this on their police uniform
and ofc the protect trans kids sign above her door. not to mention the narrative parallels between hiding your identity as spiderman and as a trans person. trans gwen is real to me!!
y'know, at first i was a bit disappointed they didn't change gwen's haircut for atsv because i thought that she would look cool with something new since her shaved side would be grown out... but then her hair was used perfectly to express her identity, specifically as a trans person.
throughout the movie, gwen struggles with feeling like she's not being true to herself, and says that it feels like her dad only know HALF of her. meanwhile, gwen's hair looks like this and if you spit a picture of her down the middle then you get one side that looks more like a boy and one that looks more like a girl.
not only that, but when gwen was hiding and isolating herself from her dad, her hair turned blue — meaning her currently pink hair turned blue when she was lying about who she is.
and then when gwen does finally start trying to talk about her feelings and express who she really is inside, this is what happens.
not only does her hair (as well as her bedroom) look reminiscent of the trans pride flag, but she's also mainly turned towards the right in this scene, showing off the longer side of her hair...
anyways, gwen stacy is a trans woman and it couldn't be more obvious.

I hate it whenever people say “mental health matters!” Until you have a disorder that their neurotypical brains can’t understand. Because the second you tell them about it and it doesn’t fit their romanticized versions of the disorder, they look at you as if you have three heads.

If you are still curious and want to learn more about OCD, you can visit the International OCD Foundation's website. I also recommend this amazing TED ED video "Starving The Monster", which was my first introduction to the disorder and this video by John Green about his own experience with OCD.
The IOCDF's website can also help you find support groups, therapy, and has lots of online guides and resources as well if you or a loved one is struggling with the disorder. It is very comprehensive!
