One problem I’ve encountered while drawing the Kakashi from “rocks fall; scene end” is that we don’t fucking know how his mangekyo sharingan looks like, because, there’s no description of it (at least that I remember, if there is. Well, I’m ignoring that now). So I’ve taken it upon myself and decided to dedicate a few hours to designing one.

Here’s the brainstorming page:

All of them are clocks, yeah yeah, very creative I know. At first I thought about going the obvious route and straight up doing an analog clock, bc look at this

it looks sick as fuck, but it’s very clockwork creepypasta (love her) and kinda lazy. So I scrapped that and fixated on the hourglass.

The hourglass was a whole other beast and opened up way too many design possibilities for me. I eventually decided to not go too crazy on design and stick to simple shapes and ended up with those ones at the bottom of the page

It’s base design consists of a mix of a few elements:

1)

First we got the… umm, like the line in the center (?). Which when you separate it from the other shit, looks like a scythe!

And yeah, at first I did it bc it looked pretty cool and was similar to the thingies Obito’s sharingan has

But THEN I thought: this looks like a scythe, you know where scythes are used?

AGRICULTURE

And who better to have one than our scarecrow of the fields? (I’m so smart I know)

Moving on to the other stuff

And I’m not even done bc I haven’t even gotten to the coolest part yet.

In the spirit of encouraging people to comment on fanfics while also making it easier to do so, I feel obliged to share a browser extension for ao3 that has quite literally revolutionized the comment game for me.

I present to you: the floating ao3 comment box!

From what I've seen, a big problem for many people is that once you reach the comments at the bottom of a fic, your memory of it miraculously disappears. Anything you wanted to say is stuck ten paragraphs ago, and you barely remember what you thought while reading. This fixes that!

I'll give a little explanation on the features and how it works, but if you want to skip all that, here's the link.

The extension is visible as a small blue box in the upper left corner.

(Side note: The green colouring is not from the extension, that's me.)

If you click on it, you open a comment box window at the bottom of your screen but not at the bottom of the fic. I opened my own fic for demonstrative purposes.

The website also gives explanations on how exactly it functions, but I'll summarize regardless.

insert selection -> if you highlight a sentence in the fic it will be added in italics to the comment box

add to comment box -> once you're done writing your comment, you click this button and the entire thing will automatically copied to the ao3 comment box

delete -> self explanatory

on mulitchapter fics, you will be given the option to either add the comment to just the current chapter or the entire fic

The best part? You can simply close the window the same way you opened it and your progress will automatically be saved. So you can open it, comment on a paragraph, and then close it and keep reading without having the box in your face.

Comments are what keep writers going, and as both a writer and a reader, I think it's such an easy way of showing support and enthusiasm.

Hello yes I’m back after spending all my crystals on what was supposed to be my 7th An card but I got worldlink Kohane instead 💀

Uhm at least I finally have a kohane 4* card now?? Too bad my event bonus is still the same 😭 ngl im kinda leaning towards just keeping tsukaser there idk i might change team placement for kizuna rank with an as leader bc i want to up her character rank but akito has a special score skill so im not sure
