Honestly I just wanna give all my love to Spinel, so if it's not too much how about a Spinel x fem!reader where she makes sure Spinel is happier than usual for the entire day, she does little things like making her breakfast etc ;") maybe it's like the anniversary of Spinel becoming good again or some other (more creative) reason you can come up with :D

This was so much stinking fun to write, I hope you like it!

When Spinel woke up that morning she was alone. For a split second she panicked. She had woken open alone before, it wasn’t something new, but she still had those moments. Thankfully, she had gotten better at handling it and the panic only lasted that one second. She could hear the noises coming from the kitchen, the clanging of pots and pans mixed with your soft footsteps and quiet singing.

She sighed, snuggling deeper into the blankets and happily listened to you sing. To her, your singing was the most beautiful sound in the galaxy, nothing could compare. It relaxed every muscle in her body, no matter how tense she was, and always made her hum happily. 

She quietly groaned in disappointment when the singing stopped, dragging the blanket over her head. She listened to the soft footsteps as they approached the bedroom and the groan of the door as it was opened. 

She peaked out of her blanket pile, smiling up at your face brightly. You smiled back, giggling and crawling back into bed, cuddling close to the gem. She wrapped her arms around you over and over, holding you tight and humming happily. 

“Morning, love.” You chimed, giving her a peck on the lips. Her face heated up and her smile widened. She never would get used to your kisses. She would blush every time and get these cute little hearts in her eyes. It made you giggle.

“Morning, Doll. What’ve you been up to?” She purred, nuzzling into your neck. 

“Just making breakfast. It’s your favorite!” You said that last part in a sing-song voice.

Spinel gasped, pulling away from you to look into your face.

“Chocolate chip pancakes?! You never make those!”

You giggled at her expression, giving her another kiss.

“Today’s a special day!”

Now Spinel was just confused, frowning thoughtfully at you.

“It is?”

“Yep!” you chimed happily. 

“Why?”

You shook your head. 

“I’m not telling you, you have to guess! If you do, you get a prize!”

Spinel hummed thoughtfully, smirking at you, eyes sparkling at the prospect of a game. 

“Oh really? How long do I got?”

“Till the end of the day.”

“Well… It’s not our anniversary….”

“Nope!”

“It’s definitely not your birthday. I’d never forget that!” 

She hummed thoughtfully again, looking rather perplexed. She couldn’t for the life of her figure it out! As far as she could tell, it was just another ordinary day.

“Maybe some pancakes will help you think.” You suggested and she smiled, letting you drag her out of the bed and into the kitchen for some breakfast. It was there that you told her you’d be going out for the day. You both decided to go to Funland and the arcade.

You spent all day doing whatever Spinel felt like, indulging her every random impulse. Did she want to jump into the ocean? You jumped with her, laughing together when you bobbed to the surface. Did she want to eat a pound or two of funnel cake? You bought it for her. Did she want to play that one arcade game fifty or a hundred or two hundred times in a row? You cheered her on, exploding with excitement every time she beat her own high score. 

By the end of the day, there was only one more thing she wanted to do.

“Walk with me?”

And you did, the gem clinging onto your arm as the two of you wandered down the boardwalk, watching the lights as they glimmered like stars and reflecting off the gentle ocean below. The night was filled with the warmth of the summer day, the orange lights, and the body pressed close to yours. You had to admit, this was probably your favorite thing you’ve done all day. Nothing compared to the sparkle of the lights in Spinel’s eyes, the warm smile on her face, the way her gem shimmered. She had to be the most beautiful being in the universe.

You stopped in the middle of the boardwalk, both leaning against the railing to look out over the ocean. When you looked at Spinel again, she was staring at you, hearts in her eyes and a dopey smile on her face. You felt your face heat up and smiled sweetly at her.

“Did ya have a good day, sweetheart?”

Spinel hummed, snuggling closer to you and sighing.

“Sure did, Toots, the best day. There’s just one thing I still don’t get …” She looked at you, confusion clear on her face. “I still can’t for the life of me figure out why. What’s today?”

You smiled softly at her, then looked back out over the ocean. You could feel the gem’s eyes on you, not wavering for a second. 

“It was a trick. There’s no way you can know about today. Sorry, love…”

Spinel huffed at that, poking your cheek and making you giggle.

“No fair!” She whined. “You cheated! Now you Have to tell me!”

“I know, love.” You were silent for a second. “It was today a year ago. We weren’t dating then, but we were friends. I think we were hanging out on the beach, just messing around. I must have said something funny cause you were laughing so hard you were crying!” You took a moment just to look at her, admiring the blush on her cheeks and the way she looked at you, with so much love you felt like you could explode. “That’s when I first realized I love you.”

Her blush grew darker and she made some sort of strangled sound, plopping her face into your shoulder in embarrassment. The sight drew a loud happy laugh from you and you wrapped the gem in your arms, holding her close to your chest. She giggled, hugging you back.

“I love you so, so much, Spinel.”

“I love you.”

Y/N: Spinel, this is my mom and dad. Mom, dad, this is my girlfriend Spinel. Spinel: *(shakes their hands)* Hi there, I'm a big fan of your work! Especially how it tastes!

Ooh. This blog looks so good fjdjd. Okay uh, how about an imagine for Spinel courting her S/O? Just bc I adore the concept so much. I mean just imagining a lovestruck Spinel being all flirty and trying to win me over, makes me feel all fluttery

The second she realizes that she’s feeling more for you then she ever did for Steven as a friend she’s alarmed

there’s gonna be a long period of time where she’s watching you from a far and fretting. Would you even want her like this??? Would you even be able to look at her again if she messes up somehow!! “They can’t possibly wan’ me like this…could they?”

despite all of her worries, she’s visibly so lovestruck and in awe. Anytime she sees you smile, she feels her gem warm up, her lips curling up into a dopey smile, her arms turning into loose noodles

you make her weak - you’re her  weakspot and by the diamonds she loves it - all sorts of horror scenarios start flooding her head, up until she’s had a good talk with Garnet, master of love and understanding herself

with newfound courage she will try and get your attention. Sure you’ve met and had a couple of ‘hang outs’ but despite that Spinel worries

at first she’s trying verbally. Making jokes, cute little puns to make you laugh. More then often using a joke to compliment you! “I dunno if I can eat anymore donuts…ya’ smile alone is givin’ me a suga’ rush~”

each time you laugh or look the slightest bit flustered, she feels so accomplished. She can barely hide her heart eyes!

her next step is the more 'direct’ idea of trying to court you

she literally watched other teenagers how they’d do it - she’d use anything she learned. Hand against the wall trying to be as confident as she can be while winking at you. “What’s cookin’ good lookin’~.”

there will be lots and lots of pick up lines coming your way

even trying to catch you of guard with a few flowers she’s found with a cheesy line to try and court you “Heya toots…I er’…found these flowers an’I thought… hey they remind me of ya’…cause’ of ya eyes…”

your flustered stammering makes her think she messed up and broke you!

the moment you realize what’s going on and confront her about it,it’s her turn to look flustered

when all her attempts seemed to have worked, she’ll be flowing over with joy. Or rather malfunction and fall down into a pile of her noodley limbs, hands on her cheeks and happiest lovestruck look in her eyes

❤️ Some Spinel headcanons ❤️

Spinel is very touch feely, whatever she does with you or around you expect to feel her in some way or form touching you. Whether it's just her shoulder brushing against yours, or her hand lightly holding onto yours. She likes to know you're there, and feeling you reassures her greatly ❤️

Spinel adores your shorts, any type of shorts you own she'll love on you. Mostly because she feels like you two can match outfits, but also because that gives Spinel lots and lots of skin to touch - and she lives how soft your skin is

Did I mention she loves your skin. No matter what you are, she thinks your skin is the softest thing to exist. An odd thing to love, but reasonable to her. She likes the warmth you give of and the smell of your shampoo. Though she may like your own smell a lot better then the shampoo.

If you have long hair she'll try and make it into pigtails like hers, mostly because she likes to just run her hands through it, and it's a believable Excuse to touch your hair!

You can bet your socks that Spinel surprise kisses you A LOT. You can even get out of bed without a surprise kiss, she's just all of a sudden there doing a handstand in front of you as you try to reach your alarm. Giving you one good wake up smooch ❤️

She is very curious about your hobbies, she didn't get to see or so much in her last 6000 years, so it's understandable that she would even grow curious of stamp collections. She will ask you about what it is, what it is that's so fun about it. And will try to get into it as well!

Spinel is WEAK for your kisses. She will physically fall apart and melt just by a quick kiss on the cheek! She tries to stand still and vigilant, but the moment this soft plush lips are on her, all her limbs deflate and turn noodley. She'll just...lay there, grinning up at you like a lovestruck dork. A happy dork that is.

If you kiss her gem she gasps and looks EXTREMELY flustered. Her gem is quite the sensitive and intimate spot! Goodness you should prepare her before doing that or she may have meltdown, a flustered meltdown!

Spinel enjoys electro swing, and will love dancing to it with you. No matter how good you are, she will lead you and help you. No tripping and falling with her, she catches you with one long arm and presses a kiss to your nose!

On the topic of dancing, Spinel adores slow dancing with you. She loves letting you stand on her shoes so you two can just slowly sway to the music. All the while her whispering quiet 'I love you's and compliments into your ear

flustered Spinel is one of my many major major weaknesses omg.

• Spinel doesn’t sleep much, but she’ll spoon the hell out of you (and vice versa) until you wake up every morning. she knows what’s coming because you do it as soon as you’re awake enough to look at her, and she can’t help but sit there and jitter just thinking about it

• (it’s kisses. she waits for your morning smooches you give her every morning without fail.)

• at first it was hard for her to adjust to it all, the affectionate gestures and the physical notions of your feelings for her. being totally alone in complete silence for 6,000 years will make you quite touch starved.

• she’d freeze up whenever you’d hug her or take one of her hands into yours—any physical contact really. it was all sort of new to her, and she wasn’t a very trusting gem at all in the beginning. but with time, a gentle voice, and a comforting shoulder to cry on, she finally let herself open up to you

• but what really started to get her to unwind was the first time you intertwined your fingers with her’s, brought the top of her hand to your lips, and planted a soft kiss on her knuckles

• she crumpled into a puddle on the floor. a literal puddle of noodle limbs and on the verge of tears

• you were immediately concerned but she swore she was fine, she just couldn’t handle the swell of adoration that had exploded from within her gem omg

• Spinel likes to snuggle up to you a lot, and this prompted you to ask if you could play with her hair one day. she was mildly confused but said she’d let you, and when you actually ran your fingers through her hair the first few times?

• spinel.exe has stopped working

• and she leans into your touch when you realize it

• “Spinel, are you . . . are you purring?”

• she’s in HEAVEN and snuggles up to you as close as she can because she just can’t get enough of the feeling, it’s so nice!!! where have you BEEN all her life!!!!!

• no matter what, she just really loves holding u close because she knows how much u love holding her back

• she has her moments where she needs some extra love and smooches, and u are more than happy to oblige

• one of these nights in particular occurs and you discover two things

• that a) it really helps her to calm down with u providing pressure and laying on top of her like a weighted blanket

• and b) when u decide to kiss her gem, she has to suppress an unintentional squeak

• when you look at her to make sure she’s okay, a lil’ smile grows on your face at the sight before you—a completely flustered gem who’s just staring back at you with basically heart-shaped pupils

• like did you just? smooch? her gem? oh my stars? and she LOVED IT? IT MADE HER FEEL SO NICE DO IT AGAIN Y/N

• she’s literally speechless. she loves u. so much.

• and througha all u do for her, she knows just how much you love her back!!!!

Simple Joys of Life: [2] Auburn Cycle

(Spinel x Reader)

“WOOHOO!!!”

Spinel joyfully shouted out with her bubbly laughter following behind. Her twin pigtails ruffled wildly in the forced wind and her noodle like arms falling behind as well.

“Spinel! Slow down!” Your voice called to gem who is also more than a few yards away after descending the mountain roads. Luckily, this road was made for people to bike or hike for fun. “Bicycles can only go a certain speed!”

The handlebar shook at the lack of contact from Spinel’s hands, but she grabbed it before it could get more violent. “You worry too much!!! I’ve got it!” She winks back at you.

That caused you to roll your eyes and you began watching as Spinel stood up to move her bicycle side to side. You couldn’t see, but you can tell her smile was one of full happiness. Freedom.

Until she gets careless....

“SPINEL!!!”

The gem opened her eyes and panicked at the very sharp turn coming up. Her fingers reach for the brakes.

“Don’t pull the breaks!!!”

It is more dangerous if she were to pull the brakes at the speed she held on the bicycle. You had told her that before, but it’s reasonable that anyone would automatically reach for it in panic. Now, the action caused the bike to flip and launched Spinel through a thick group of trees.

You were glad you had held your speed to a minimum as you skid your bike to a stop with ease. Parting the leaves, you notice there’s a big pond and a small part of the surface was bubbling.

Suddenly, Spinel popped up and spouts out a stream of water from her mouth. A tiny fish had also fell out of her mouth. Her expression turned to comical shame, a faint blush dusting her cheeks.

“Oh, thank the heavens you’re a gem.” You say with relief.

It didn’t take long for her to phase the water off her form and the two of you are now back on the road. Although, this time your strolling with your bicycles to your sides.

“That was so embarrassing.” Spinel complained.

You snickered, “I told you to be careful.”

Spinel puffs her cheeks and became defensive, “No, you didn’t! You said slow down! There’s a difference, (Y/n).”

With a gentle and playful nudge, you just smile it off, “Either way. I’m just so glad you didn’t get hurt.”

Her magenta eyes caught sight of your close eyed smile which made her gem swell with happiness. “It’s gonna take a lot more than small bicycle crash to take me down.” She boasts.

You hum in response and stop to mount your bike, “Yeah. I bet that poor fish was so thankful that you saved it from drowning.” With that said, you immediately pedal away in laughter.

“HOW DARE YOU!” Spinel began to pedal behind with a bright embarrassed face.

“You can’t stay mad at me for long!” You grin at her as she catches up and you’re riding beside each other. A thought crossed your mind at how a gem like herself had been complaining earlier that day and she said that riding a bicycle is boring. Maybe it’s because there had been a tiny bit of adventure while heading up the mountain.

Why was it a tiny adventure?

Well, it had been funny and worrisome when teaching the gem how to ride a bicycle, but she handled it faster than you thought. Plus when you two stopped at an old campsite to rest, a bear had been roaming around. Of course, you panicked and ran, this also made Spinel run with you.

“You’re a gem!!! Why are you running?!” You shout.

Spinel realized and giggled sheepishly, “Oh yeah!” She wrapped her arm around you while swinging amongst the trees and the along the way she grabbed your bicycles. Spinel lands on a ledge where nothing can reach you two and it so happens to overlook the entire tree land.

“Wow.”

That was the only breathtaking response from the pink hearted gem. She sits down as a gentle breeze rustled all the leaves of each tree, seeming like the sound of far ocean waves. “I didn’t realize that trees have their own waves.”

You pull out a small packed lunch from the basket of your bicycle. “There’s tons of surprises Earth has to offer. Unfortunately, most of the population can’t see the most prized and precious thing they’re given.”

From this view and somewhere between those trees, the small town that you and Spinel are staying at had a reason to call their town, ‘Auburn Well’. The trees are a mix of fall and spring colors, mostly autumn colors.

“I’m lucky then. Especially when the first surprise was you.” Spinel slowly tips to the side to lay her heading on your shoulder. Her eyes lock into a stare with your own before they close into a close eyed grin.

You feel your face heat up.

“Wanna know why?~” She sings and boops your nose. “Because I WHEELIE like you.”

Your eyes twitch and you fall back, laughing hysterically. She laughs with you and her cheeks flush brightly, seeming embarrassed. You start to snort and try to slow your laugh, “Almost... You almost had me.”

Spinel shrugs with a smile, “I tried. Give me some credit.”

You mount your bike and roll your eyes with amusement, “Nah, I’m just TWO-TIRED for this.”

“Oh-ho-ho!” Spinel laughs and springs up to hug your head. “That was bad. Leave the puns to the professional, Sweetie.”

That’s when it all lead up to both of you wrestling and nearly rolling off the edge to your rooms, if Spinel hadn’t sprung back up to the top with you. The lunch had been forgotten and the sun was nearing the late afternoon, so back to the present;

The sun is slowly disappearing and Spinel brought out the small lanterns to hook onto the bikes. A few cars pass by while heading onto the main road and you began to watch as Spinel started doing tricks with the bicycle. Bouncing it on one wheel, turning in midair in a 180, until she bounced the front wheel.

Spinel backflipped hard onto the leaf covered ground and a broken wheel rolling off somewhere into the forest.

At this, you face palm and let her ride on your bike. Her arms are now around your middle and you can feel your squeeze you gently like a long lasting hug as you start pedaling back toward town. Recalling all of Spinel’s fails today, you couldn’t help but snicker.

“What?”

“Ah, nothing. I just realized how much embarrassing fails you did today.” You muse playfully.

Spinel buried her face against your shoulder with a pout, “Oh quiet you.”

You giggle and take one of your hands off the handle to pat her hand that’s resting on her coil of arms. She softly squeezes you to show that she understood your playful manner.

Riding more slowly through town, the two of you stop at the bed and breakfast place that Steven’s dad rented for you and Spinel. Well, Connie and Steven were here too for Connie’s break from college. By now, it’s dark, but there’s still people out and about to enjoy this town’s historic buildings.

“There you two are! Do you realize how late it is? Seriously, how far did you guys take our bikes out riding?” Steven scold softly.

You park the bicycle as Connie waves from the top window while you wave back happily.

“Wait.....Spinel....where’s my bike?”

Spinel freezes as her pigtails stood straight up before they droop. She laughs nervously, “Well, you see, Steven. Your bike got TWO-TIRED and decided to take a stroll to find a new ATTIRE.” She jazzy hands and cringes at her joke. “Oh, that didn’t turn out too well. I’m gettin’ rusty. AH!”

Steven began chasing her around the block as Spinel just springs around with loony laughter at his lack of capture.

You watch them and take an auburn leaf from your hair. It laid there on your palm before a breeze swept it off toward the sky. It wasn’t long before Steven walks up to the door, giving Spinel a noogie to her head and she snickered.

“And you’re not getting of it either, (Y/n)!” Steven grinned playfully and pulled you into a headlock with his other arm. “You two took off with our bicycles when we had the day planned with them.”

You and Spinel glance at each other and smirk. “You know what they—“

“—The early bird gets the worm.” Spinel finished.

Both of you laugh and quickly hold Steven down to get him a noogie.

An Auburn Cycle through the autumn leaf mountains had been another amazing memory with Spinel.

Slight redesigns and an actual timeline for a pokemon au but it's all just for funzies and I might make more Pokemon designs ee

Y/n doesn't have a family and leaves the city to travel the countryside and study plants and herbs! Sun and moon have more lore than what's here but eventually they start to drift around y/n and take interest in their findings! They lead y/n to rare plants and eventually become their companions! Y/n never actually catches them though! Y/n eventually finds a shack to fix up and lives there outside of a small town. They find out they love to help people and pokemon so they open a traditional medicine and tea shop in their shack!! I'm thinking about some kind of ark to go down when they're an adult and eclipse will be a part of it! Thinking that Vanessa will also be a part of it? I just don't know because I feel like I don't know Vanessa very well so idk if I can make her a villain eeee
