HOW TO MAKE SESSIONBOX WORK AGAIN AFTER BETA-TUMBLR WAS FORCED ON YOU.            a step by step guide on CHROME (that has worked for me so luckily it will work for others)

step 1. uninstall sessionbox completely. annoying, i know, but it’s gotta be done.

step 2. go to all your blogs, one by one, and if they have the beta activated, make sure you go to EACH BLOG’s settings > dashboard and make sure the beta dashboard is turned off.

step 3. clear your chrome’s cookies completely (in fact, i recommend you just clear your browser data entirely for this, but if you can’t, just the cookies and the history should be fine). to clear the cookies on chrome you click the three little dots on the upper corner, then go to settings and find this:

step 4. close all chrome windows to restart it.

step 5. go to tumblr.com and find this little padlock symbol (don’t log in yet):

step 6. click the padlock symbol and then click the cookies section.

step 7. find the cookies below and block them. now, block THESE ONES THAT I’M SHOWING YOU, nothing else. there are two ‘tumblr’ cookies, you should only block ONE, the one that doesn’t come with ‘www’ before ‘tumblr’. 

“but wait, jay, what does that even do? why THOSE cookies?” i’m proud to say i don’t know. i just clicked a bunch of shit until i could use sessionbox again and it worked for me. so hopefully it’ll work for you as well.

step 8. restart chrome again.

step 9. login on any account and install&start using sessionbox as you previously did. if you did all the steps correctly, it should work again.

I still have an hour or so until my birthday is over and truthfully. It hasn’t been great. More mentally than anything or anyone’s own fault really. But doing this for my past few birthdays have offeresd to lift some weight so I figured why not.     it  doesn’t  slip  unnoticed  with  the  creak  of  the  door  seconds  later  that  the  girl  has  skills.    for  why ,   he’s  not  sure ,    and  what  he  thinks  something  that  won’t  concern  him ...    now  potentially  concerns  him.    not  enough  to  work  out  a  lot  of  worries  he’ll  address  as  soon  as  the  locked  grief  in  the  back  of  his  head  finally  stops  banging  against  his  mental  barriers  every  time  he  gets  closer  to  reliving  a  night  on  the  beach.   and  this  isn’t  the  time  for  that ,   or  maybe  not  ever.

    hands  tighten  ‘round  the  strap  of  his  duffel  bag ,    gauging  the  level  of  threat  that  this  girl  poses   —— like  all  before  her  does.    a  flare  of  irritation  has  been  reluctantly  tampered  when  he  responds  as  curtly  as  he  can ,            ‟     I  don’t  care  about  whatever  gamble  you  got ,   but  I’m  fine.    Leave  me  alone.     ❜     

    it’s  annoying  how  one  room  where  he  feels  as  concrete  as  who  he  is  right  now  has  been  compromised ,   all  because  neil  figures  that  this  one  is  just  too  nosy.    he  gives  her  a  HARD  STARE ,   mouth  pursed  and  held  back  before  he  regrets  anything;   and  quickly  turns  around  to  walk  away.    maybe  he  can  break  in  the  laboratory  then  leave  immediately  around  dawn.          ‟     Mind  your  own  business  of  not  picking  on  my  business.     ❜
