I have absolutely no idea how common that knowledge is (don't @ me people who actually read Poe), but "rue Morgue" means "Morgue/Mortuary Street", as in the name of the street is Morgue.
Absolutely useless fact is that the guy with the white suit and moustache in Poe's book was voiced by Lovecraft's actor. He may be gone for now but his big voice persists.
Yosano doesn't use the word for abilities when she tells Ranpo that the ADA was founded only so he could make use of his talent.
