Friendly reminder that Mark shouldnโt have to censor his own creativity or change what HE wants to do with HIS friends on HIS YouTube channel just because an insanely tiny percentage of people who might see it may have a problem with it.
I understand that some people suffer with depersonalization/derealization. I understand that some people suffer with paranoia or other such psychosis. I understand that people exist who have problems with this type of content.
But thatโs not Markโs fault, nor is it his responsibility. He canโt possibly account for every single type of neurodivergence with his channel and his content. Iโm autistic with many sensory issues, and LOTS of Markโs stuff ended up being too much for me to deal with.
But I would never tell him not to make that content, or to change that content for me, because 1: I do not need to watch it, and 2: itโs His Channel.
It sucks that not everyone can just have fun with #MarkiplierIsnโtReal. But guys, itโs not that deep. You can see him everywhere. Mark is literally a click away. Heโs real, heโs having fun with a bit that he wanted to do, and heโll be back soon with more amazing stuff.
In the meantime, just take care of yourself. But donโt try and demand he change, or act as if any of this is malicious or intentionally harmful.
Mark can do whatever he likes with his channel. The community can have fun alongside that. And if whatโs happening is triggering for you, or even just bothers you?
Block the tag, get off tumblr, and ignore the videos. Itโs really that simple.
