oh kaaayy so ooo basically we know that the great octoweapons are sentient ish and are also big robots that use a tentacle to operate correct?? what if we take that concept of powerful robots but apply them to some average everyday octarians? they're pretty much cyborgs.. i'm surprised they didn't do the cyborg concept yet
Karr and Nage are two (previously mentioned) splatoon ocs.. they were present in the audience during spl2s Callie concert, which turned them into big Callie fans, yet feeling great resentment to inkling society even still. possibly because Marie "took" Callie away from them.. their end goal is to do everything in their power to restore octarian society's power and return it to its former glory, by whatever means necessary. Also, they're convinced their acne is cool because it makes them like Callie, utterly convinced that's what a beauty mark is
Karr's the more loud and brash of the two, prone to making herself the center of attention and being the foil that keeps Nage's days interesting. I based a bit of her design on gyaru fashion, especially the kneesocks and blonde-ish hair, when their army fell into Alterna i'm sure she screamed and passed out knowing their new outfits looked so awesome.
Nage isnt as predictably professional as she seems, and is easily influenced by Karr's whims while maintaining a nonchalant attitude about it. She's direct and straight to the point with their work, and seems to be the only one aside their bosses and Octavio himself that can convince Karr to do anything, no problem.

since pierez (and i assume her dancestor will be) a mage o blood and a sylph o blood, their qualities combined means that shes tried healing through blood and failed, which caused suffering through blood and thus drove her a little crazy

all of this is true, but id really love if we could shed more light on octarian society aside from just levels too. i feel so bad that its basically running out of power in 1/2 and definitely 3 and we havent seen what its like through the octarians eyes yet
It’s kind of crazy how the great turf war was just in Inkadia and literally only in Inkadia if I’m not misremembering anything. Inklings from there literally just don’t know what octarians are bc there just aren’t any on the surface. And I mean, I don’t think that makes them dumb or anything. It makes sense that octolings live on the surface everywhere else though
