Working On Light Placement. I Think Four Will Be Plenty Over The Dinette Table. So Much Brighter Than

Almost finished with the recore job. Maybe 2 square feet at the very peek of the bow, and a bit more in the cockpit, and I get to check that off the lest. I rolled the tarp back for the first time in a long time. It was nice to see my progress in the daylight! We had to quit and go play at the river for a while as it got to hot to do epoxy. We returned after the sun went down for a bit to epoxy on the fiberglass on the bow.

One more piece on.

First piece of 1/2" marine plywood tacked in place. Now, I just have to march all the way around....Twice! Original cabin sides are 1" thick.

Clean up after grinding the old core out...

Cut out the holes for the portlights on the galley side. Can't wait to finish the port side so I can cut that side. Down below already feels so open with just the one side done. One more step forward...so many more to go!
