i think until it’s stated otherwise/or I make a Smiling Friends AU, I’m giving Charlie bits of my mom’s backstory. But a bit less horrible, to respect her own trauma, and so I’m not insensitive to what she has gone through.

He doesn’t feel cared for, feels as if nobody likes him, hardly likes what he used to, and only finds solace in social media. Maybe he can get out of this mess if he just sucked it up. “
