i really want to donate in aid to the Palestinians in Gaza, but knowing some people who are involved with charities personally, they have shared many stories of corruption within big charities. this followed by the influx of scams that can happen in this time, i’m really afraid of money from good-willed people going to the wrong places instead of helping those truly in urgent need. are there any verified charities validated by Palestinian journalists on the ground? and how can i be sure that my donations will go to the right places? thank you for all that you have been doing by the way, im wishing you well.
hi anon - there are a few direct aid organisations that you can donate to that are doing verifiable good work and goes straight to helping Palestinians.
One of these is CareforGaza, which distributes food, hygiene products, and other living supplies directly to families in need in Gaza. They take their donations via Paypal.
The second is E-sims for Gaza, which is organised by Mirna El Helbawi and her group of workers. They distribute e-sims directly to Palestinians so that they can keep connected to the world and each other. So far, they've distributed over 130,000 e-sims. There is a comprehensive post teaching you how to purchase and send e-sims here.
Other organisations that also do good work with your coin but are perhaps less immediate are the PCRF and the UNWRA which are responsible for delivering truckloads of aid (whenever Israel allows them to). However, if you wanna get the most bang for your buck, I'd recommend the two options I explained above.

Today is the first day of the weeklong strike for a ceasefire in Gaza.
I have realized that I do not think the message has spread far, at least on this website. This might be due to the lack of internet in Gaza, it has been down for days. Not much can be said by the citizens there, it's like some people forgot about them. I encourage all of you to share this post, or make your own, letting everyone know about this strike. This is something that should transcend the aesthetic of your blog. My blog was a gimmick blog, but for this week, it is a blog for spreading information and awareness.

I’ve been having these recurring dreams of a seaside town called Marlowe Bay from the POV of a young man named Osborne Scarborough living in his dad’s lighthouse and this is gonna be a long post of everything I’m gonna share that I saw in each dream in this town (more to come in reblogs)
1. There’s a washed up ivory clawfoot bathtub on the beach full of rope net, seaweed, a sea star, a gold monocle, a leather bag covered in barnacles and grime, and a single crab holding the monocle on the beach.
2. Martha Hampshire the closest neighboring lady with the white and red polka dotted dress and birds nest hair.
3. Fenton the lab mix. I love you Fenton.
4. Mr. Catch and his small fishing boat (accompanied by Fenton) with his marbled false eye and scallop shell tattoo.
5. Something about Osborne’s father causing Osborne’s eyes to tear up just hearing him be mentioned.
6. The young girl standing where the cliff met the pier, with a crab trap on her left foot like a shoe in the mist.
7. The way Osborne puts his gold rimmed glasses in his dad’s blue fisherman hat before he went to bed every night curled up in that big thick blue blanket in the lofty bed of the lighthouse.
Last day of the year has finally arrived and I couldnt be happier. In 2023 my game was turned from hard mode and set to nightmare mode. (The universe was like "you thought you had it tough, here, hold my beer…" 😆) Therefore, considering everything, Im very proud of the things Ive managed to accomplish. Im also so immensely grateful for the love and support from the wonderful people all around me, from my friends and family, coworkers and acquaintances, from my boss and all my lovely followers, from the wonderful people adoption my creatures, sharing and loking, from the ones believeing in me no matter what, and the ones that reached out even tho they didnt even know me, from all and everyone, and yes that includes you who read this right now. The star witnesses in the New York Times "the mass rapes thing totally happened" story says their loved one was NOT raped, that they were manipulated by NYT reporters, and they are begging people to stop spreading lies.
The family received a phone call the morning of Oct 7th from Nagi's husband saying she had been shot and was killed. He was beside her the whole time and never mentioned anything about rape or sexual assault.
So Israel is back to having ZERO victims out of the "hundreds" of rapes they insist totally happened.
