And suddenly it dawned on me that it would be an extremely wrong choice to bring her back.

Think for yourself. Usually, the fate of the characters was chosen by the audience. They voted for who should get out or stay, but with Teardrop, it's a different story... She got out not by the will of the audience, she was under the control of the screenwriters. Do you understand? They could eliminated her exactly when they no longer need her. Then, when they decide that the time to her elimination has already come. They have nothing to do with her anymore, so why bring her back?

Did you completely close your eyes to all this, just so that your favorite character would come back?

I understand you. I also want Lightning to return to the game, but I understand that this would not be the right choice.

Getting someone back into the game is not just: "Oh! This is my favorite character, I'll vote for him!". Here you need to think not with your heart, but with your brain.
