How Winn Schott Has Me Feeling Rn

I have been waiting for this since I found out they were both on broadway at the same time. this is huge for me and like 16 other people

If House came out in the 2020s there would absolutely be an episode where House steals a vape from a teenage patient with the intent of mocking them and ends up getting really into it. Cuddy tries to stop him from vaping in the hospital but it turns out there’s a loophole in the anti smoking rules that mean e-cigs aren’t technically banned.

While Cuddy is on a mission to fix the rules, House is collecting the grossest, sweetest vape flavours he can find. Foreman’s pissed because House keeps blowing smoke in his face, Chase finds this really funny and Cameron is unsuccessfully trying to stage an intervention. Wilson just puts his hands on his hips and asks that House refrains from vaping in front of his lung cancer patients.

Somehow the episode ends with the reveal that cotton candy vape juice was the only thing keeping the patient alive and House’s vaping habit was actually genius medical research. Cameron and Wilson are relieved House doesn’t actually have a new addiction. Episode ends with House taking one last puff of his vape and then going to put in it the bin before reconsidering and pocketing it. This is never brought up again

i’ve been close to giving up on this show so many times, but i’m genuinely not sure how we’re supposed to come back from this. killing bobby is an absolutely horrific writing choice, and having eddie - a main character - not be present to say goodbye, or even getting a fucking phone call to inform him?

what are they even doing here, man?

it kind of feels like there’s no point to this show anymore, because none of the characters will ever recover from this. their entire lives will be stained by this guilt (chim, hen, buck) and grief, and quite frankly i don’t trust the writers or tim to handle any of that with the grace and compassion that it deserves.

to do this to such a loyal, dedicated fan base - who find so much comfort in the show because it doesn’t kill off its mains - is genuinely just very cruel and unnecessary.

how am i going to continue this series without bobby in it. how am I going to focus on each individual character without the core of the series. what will i do without bobby? How will Athena do without Bobby? Buck without Bobby? Eddie without Bobby? Chim without Bobby? Hen without Bobby? May without Bobby? The 118 without Bobby? This is like the end of the series, they renewed without BOBBY IN. THIS IS BULLSHIT. I'M DONE
