I'm sorry but I cannot get over the deleted scene where Glinda asks Elphie about Fiyero and the lion cub, and Elphie clearly thinks she's jealous and reassures her. But no, Glinda isn't worried about that at all; she's upset that Elphie chose him over her. And then Elphie's slow look of realisation as this clicks. In my mind this is when she realises that Glinda is in love with her.
My heart cannot handle "You could've picked me" (!!!!!) and how "I'm not that girl" plays for a few seconds in the background, a song about the one you love not loving you back. I'm a mess
no no cause the thing is- i think its super curious that within the wicked fandom glinda is really fucking popular. we love our little blonde witch over here.
but the casual wicked viewers, people just watching a movie, are almost always anti-glinda. I've seen a couple of like post-wicked-coming-out-on-peacock-first-watch videos on tiktok now and they're all like "fuck glinda, she's not her friend"ðŸ˜
The concept of Gliyeraba is so fucking funny bc Elphaba has spent most of her life being unloved by most people around her and then she gets to Shiz and now she has two idiots fighting over who loves her more.
um ok pam
dear mother and father, i hate this school. i want to go home. the most popular girl in school and the smart green girl have a really intense homoerotic rivalry and they keep roping all of us into their musical numbers. please. i was not made for dancing. i really just wanted to study history
wicked post-canon told in the style of the original frank l baum books where dorothy and ozma visit their favorite lesbian wine aunt glinda the good in her palace with a hundred women at her beck and call and she's currently crashing out over elphie
so dorothy and ozma are like "we should try to cheer her up" and go on journey throughout oz looking for something to make her feel better until they eventually stumble across elphaba who's like "you again? go away" and then they have to drag her back to glinda's palace
@sakurabraches not sure if you still remember, but one time I left you a comment about Dorothy and Glinda being at a Wendy’s post act 2. Finally got around to it :D
the way she hides her brand new practice wand (that she'd first been SO excited to get) in shame and guilt when she meets Elphaba's eyes
little teacup bird
Elphaba is the kind of autistic where it is inconceivable for her to mask and Glinda is the kind of autistic that has her mask so firmly in place that she doesn't even realize she's doing it. They are in love also
