Fanfiction writers (Scriptor fictus) are intelligent animals who need plenty of enrichment as well as encouragement! If they’re stuck in poor conditions (e.g. have studies, work, have to actually write to have something written) then they require the proper enrichment to engage in more healthy behaviours, like writing. Remember, due to poor breeding and socialisation, over half of all fanfic writers suffer from low self confidence and executive dysfunction so take care of them!

Give your fanfic writers proper care. Fanfiction writers are a life long commitment.

I wish there were more fanfictions that are less focused around character x character. As nice fan fiction is; there really is so much potential. what if talon recruits Hammond and Winston remembers his kind-of-but-not-really- brother? Will Zenyatta’s harmony be disturbed by Widowmaker? Will Bastion live in peace for the rest of his robo life? Will the smooth taking cowboy and stoic archer canonically make subtle eye contact , driving the fans insane? (I hope not honestly) Why is Winston on the human’s side? Will Tracer’s s/o be safe from talon? Will Widowmaker warn Lena? Was Reaper brainwashed by Moira during the Blackwatch days?

ovw is such a frustrating game bc the characters have such great potential. like. lucio and symmetra are absolute perfect foils, but we arent ever gonna get anything that fully explores that. roadhogs character has incredible room for growth, for exploring personal sacrifice for a greater cause, loss of humanity, coping with loss, but hes in canon just a comic relief character. fareeha is incredible like i cant even begin w how she can tie in w so many aspects of the lore. we arent gonna get anything. also winston is a talking ape from space.
