The way I can read or hear one thing and because I am WAY too emotionally invested, I start questioning whether Jack really loved Jackie. I just don't wanna live in a world where he didn't love her/realize how great she was (including pre Patrick times) Their relationship was so complicated but at the end of the day he loved her truly....right?ðŸ˜
absolutely! there is no doubt in my mind that he loved her. jack’s (and jackie’s to a lesser extent) problem was being able to show that affection, most likely due to the lack of affection he received from rose growing up. but there are stories floating around out there that show he really did love her. i point to these posts; 1 2 3 by @vixenihy in particular. like how can you argue that a man who gets his wife a (probably very expensive) bracelet for the anniversary of their first kiss (not even their wedding anniversary!!) doesn’t even love her.
also, just the way he looks at her is enough to convince me, like c’mon literally HEART EYES MF
James Dean was born on February 8, 1931, and was one of the most influential actors of the 1950s. In his five-year career, he made three major motion pictures, East of Eden (1955), Rebel Without a Cause (1955) and Giant (1956) which have been preserved in the United States National Film Registry and the Library of Congress. Today, James Dean is a lasting symbol of rebellion, youthful defiance and the restless spirit. He died in a car accident at the age of 24 in 1955.
