I feel like Green would constantly show off his wedding ring. He would try to do it lowkey at first : like placing his left hand in his face or tapping his ring on whatever he has in his hand. Then he would just be super obvious: Like “Oh no god I almost lost my WEDDING RING! Red would have killed me!” And he would just shove it into peoples faces.
I also feel like he would also make it clear that he’s married to red. Like when Red just shows up he’s like “Oh hey there Red, my sexy HUSBAND.”
Red thinks if this marriage is really worth it

2doc week day one (very late) My Boyfriend is in Jail
800+ words, 2D goes to visit Murdoc in prison. Set in phase 5, their new home in LA even though I’m pretty sure Murdoc is still in the UK we’re just gonna roll w it.

“Oh, I almost forgot- I brought you some pictures!”
Murdoc visibly perked up, straightening in his seat and eagerly accepting the photos that 2D slid through the gap at the bottom of the glass divider. The singer watched him as he fanned the pictures put like cards and scanned all of them as if he was looking for something, he looked taken aback.
“These are… pictures of all of us. Of the whole band.” Though he looked disappointed, Stuart didn’t miss the way he gingerly tucked the polaroids into his pocket, careful not to crease them. “I was uh… hoping for something a little bit more… personal if ye catch my drift.” The bassist grinned and raised his eyebrows suggestively.
2D smiled to himself and rolled his eyes, not that anyone could tell. “You’re s’possed to be out of here in what, a month? ‘M not sneaking you naked pictures of me. You know the guards check everyfing I bring in anyway.”
Murdoc sighed dramatically. “Feels like an eternity without you, faceache.”
Stu laughed. Maybe he would’ve been more upset at their situation if this was the first time, or the second, or even the third separate occasion that he’s visited his boyfriend in some kind of jail or prison. He supposed the novelty of it had worn off by now, and at this point Murdoc’s occasional stints of incarceration were more a nuisance than anything. Besides, he had a relatively short sentence this time and had, to his credit, put in an effort not to get in further trouble while he was inside. It was looking like he may even get off early this time around on good behavior.
“Then I’m sure it will seem even more special when you get home then, yeah?”
Murdoc changed the subject. “How’s moving going?”
“ ‘s alwright… Noodle and Russ ‘ave settled in fine. I still ‘avent really unpacked yet. Still dunno what room I want, feels weird choosing without you and…” He trailed off, not sure how to broach the subject, the setting of this conversation didn’t make it much better.
“What?”
He took a deep breath. “Well… I sorta wanted us to uh- I wanted us to share a room this time ‘round and I wanted yew to be there when we picked which one.” He looked down as he twirled the telephone cord in his hands, concentrating on the way it wrapped around his fingers rather than on what Murdoc was thinking.
The bassist shifted in his seat uncomfortably.
“I mean… I dunno, Dents I’ve never done anything like that before-“ His expression was uncertain, and a little uncomfortable. But that was alright- it just meant that he was actually considering it
“Well,” 2D cut in hurriedly. “We already sleep in the same bed nearly every night, and it doesn’t mean we have to keep all our stuff there- the house has enough space for you to ‘ave an office or whatevah. I just… I thought it’d be nice ‘s all.” He looked up at Murdoc, trying to read his face.
“An office huh? Y’know… I like the sound of that.”
He leaned forward in his seat a little, now excited. “So are yew saying yes?”
Murdoc nodded and 2D broke into a wide grin. The bassist sighed. “Stu, ya know I was being serious earlier right? It really does feel like forever in here… I- I really do miss you. I didn’t realize how used to yew I’ve gotten. Feels weird sleeping without your sodding giraffe limbs hitting me every ten seconds.”
Stuart smiled, he was touched but also deeply sad now at the divider between them, wanting nothing more at that moment than to embrace his boyfriend, or at the very least grasp his hand. A guard from the other side of the room called out. “You have two minutes.” On Murdoc’s side other prisoners started getting up from their booths, on his side visitors were signing out and retrieving their bags. 2D sighed, he wished they had more time.
“Hold on just a bit more, Muds; it won’t be much longer”
Murdoc smiled sadly and nodded. 2D’s chest ached. He wished they could hug. Instead, he kissed his fingertips and pressed his hand gently against the glass, Murdoc did the same and they lined their fingers up as well as they could- 2D had longer, thinner fingers than Murdoc but they made do. He tried to pretend he could feel the warmth of Murdoc’s hand through the glass, feel the texture of his skin.
The guard spoke loudly again. “Time’s up. Line up for inspection.”
Murdoc sighed and took his hand down. “See you soon, Stu.”
2D nodded before blurting out. “I love you.”
Murdoc just smiled. “Love you too, Faceache. Be out soon.” And just like that, he was gone in a blur of other inmates, all filing away.
That night 2D unpacked his clothes into one of the larger bedrooms in the house, leaving half the space in the large dresser empty for when the bassist returned. He put his blankets on the king sized bed but used Murdoc’s sheets, he drifted off that night gently tracing his hand and inhaling the smell of Murdoc’s aftershave and stale cigarettes.

Red spends too much time watching Green. From the moment they step into the airport, there’s something about the man that exudes confidence. He handles himself gracefully, getting them through security, onto the plane, off the plane, to their hotel, and the whole thing is such a smooth transition. Considering how long it’s been since Red has really been around anyone, or wanted to be, Green also handles him really well.
There are a couple times during the whole ordeal where he got nervous or frustrated, but even that is something that Green deals with like a professional.
It isn’t until they’re at the hotel and finally settling in that Red allows himself to actually relax, though.
He drops his bags and turns to Green in defeat, dropping his forehead against Green’s chest and huffing a frustrated sigh.
“Oh, hey,” Green responds in surprise and Red feels him take off his hat, the long, pale fingers running through his hair and Red sighs.
Green always knows just the right thing to do to make him feel like everything will be okay.
He runs the pad of his thumb over the ring of his right hand, then grips Green’s shirt and turns his nose to breathe the other man in. The soft smell of jade and sandalwood, the sweat and ozone. He practically melts.
“Rough day, huh?” Green asks and Red knows he doesn’t expect an answer. He /knows/. Green’s free hand soothes along his back, then he’s being walked backwards to the bed.
Red doesn’t know what Green is going for at first, but then he slides back on the bed and motions for Red to join him.
It only takes him a second to step out of his shoes, climbing onto the bed as well and curling against Green. He rests his head on Green’s collarbone, his nose under his chin, and he closes his eyes.
“Yeah, I knew it was gonna be hard on you,” Green mumbles softly and Red can hear it in his chest, “But we did it, we got here.”
Red tilts slightly, kissing Green’s chin and signing what he can with his one free arm.
“I know,” Green responds, arms tightening around Red, “Who woulda thunk it, huh?” he says in what Red considers his ‘classic, teasing tone’.
Red shakes with a silent chuckle.
“Yeah, yeah, well we told ‘em, didn’t we?” Green asks and shifts to finally toe off his own shoes, “Married… talk about heavy.”
Green touches Red’s hand then, touching the ring there and Red can feel him smiling.
“Always wanted a way to show others who you belong to. Now they’ll always know.”

Green finally flips and lifts his marker board to show it to the group and they all gasp.
“No way.”
“That’s not true, is it?”
Red lifts his as well, smiling sheepishly.
A few of them make faces, but Brock just starts laughing hysterically.
“I can’t believe your favorite movie is ‘The Princess Bride’.”
Green narrows his eyes, “It’s my favorite too,” he looks at Red and nods, “And we’ll defend it until the day we die.”
“Okay, okay,” Misty cuts in, smacking Brock’s leg to get him to stop, “Red, it’s your turn.”
Red and Green clear their boards and Red looks determined as Misty flips the card over.
“What is the first thing your spouse would buy if they won the lottery?”
Red doesn’t even hesitate. They both start writing and then Red flips his board to show everyone.
“Okay, I can’t argue that, I’m pretty sure that’s true,” Misty says and Green turns his board.
‘Buy a second house in Alola’.
Red smiles as him and Green high-five one another.
“God, I can’t believe you two really know each other that well,” Misty says in disbelief, “Okay, okay, we only have one more card.”
Green and Red tense.
“This one is for Green,” she starts as she reads the card, “Okay, Green… what is Red’s favorite part of your body?”
Green laughs but starts writing immediately.
He doesn’t notice that Red’s gone completely still, tilting his head slightly and then looking at Green before finally writing down his answer.
Green turns his and they all make ‘aww’ sounds.
‘Lips’
Red finally stops and looks up, glancing at it and frowning.
Green lifts a brow, “What? I’m wrong?” he asks in surprise, “Holy shit am I actually wrong?”
Red turns his board, and it’s easy to see where he wrote ‘lips’, but then marked it out.
Misty starts choking on her soda and a few of the others make wolf whistles.
Green blushes and takes it away, covering it, “Oh my God, what am I supposed to do with you?” then he lowers his voice, “Why my butt? I mean… it’s so small and your’s is-”
Red makes a few signs with his hands and Green flushes furiously.
“You’re lucky they don’t understand signing.”
“I understood some of it,” Brock speaks up and they look at him, “I can’t believe you just said you like eating his ass.”
Green groans miserably and gets up, knocking into the table before leaving the room.

Okay but listen
Some people sadly hate Shidge or don’t ship Pidge with anyone. Ladies, Dudes - because of the age difference. But they don’t know about original golion - voltron where Allura (Fala) was 16 and Keith (Akira) was 20 and they were in love. Very in love. I decided to trust wikipedia. Just because i don’t have alternative source of information. It’s just 4 years difference between them, and Allura from golion is only 2 years older than Pidge from VLD, if VLD wikia is correct about age. ALLURA WAS 16 in love with 20 year old boy. This is it. I see no problems with Pidge ships.

seriously, he’s super fucking disgusting, and i think a lot of people are just unaware of that. so i thought i’d talk about who he is as someone who’s seen all of golion and a small chunk of vdotu.
due to the heavy nature of golion and to a lesser extent vdotu, this post is gonna be covering topics like rape, csa (of a 16 year old character), and stalking. i won’t be graphic about it, but i will be including relevant screenshots from the show that pretty heavily imply these things, so please read on at your own discretion.

Okay, time to delve into some Voltron history and have you guys listen to this 35+ year old song literally called “Beautiful Altea”. In Golion, I believe you only hear the instrumentals of this song as background music in certain episodes.
From what little I can translate from the lyrics:
Oh Altea, Oh Altea My home Its sky, Its rivers My beloved home Closing my eyes, I see it all again But when I open my eyes, it’s all gone I want to go back once again Lu… Beautiful Altea
This is essentially Fala’s (Allura) theme song, but this is not her VA singing it. The song is basically about her lamenting the loss of Altea as it was destroyed by the Galra. We don’t really appreciate Golion’s own fun music especially when it has some sad stuff like this.
It’s been a while since I uploaded the Golion ost. This is the ending theme.
