Hey guys.

I was genuinely hoping to not do this again, especially since everyone has been so, so generous and has helped me in the past. I cannot thank you enough.

But that money has been eaten up by bills. On top of that, my boss is currently trying to replace me at work, so I may lose my job soon.

So, I've increased the goal on this gofundme, and I'm hoping to hold some fundraising streams in the future. i'm currently catching up on commissions, and I'm planning on showing off some of the work I'm hoping to be able to accomplish in the patreon.

Admittedly, things have been slow going because I've been sick, and haven't had the money for groceries. It's left me tired, and my meds haven't been working because of it. I'm drowning, and I'm trying to get out of it.

I keep saying this, but i'm genuinely hoping this is the last time. If folks could spread this around, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm debating on posting a wiki about a Sans Au I created. It's the only wiki I have rn on any of my Sanses. I'll probably come back and link it here sometime. Which means I have to check Amino again. I find myself not very active on it, but I may use it to create wikis. I'll probably end up moving the wiki over here- and just post it, maybe info dump too.

This would be the first time I posted her, anywhere, (other than one site/app *cough cough*) and tried to share simple designs about her. I have the pose reference somewhere.- but I tried to draw how I would see her. Usually I type down descriptions I can't draw, and while this is close to her original design, I can't draw it like I want to. So this is what I have so far. If you want, I can share more about her. But she's an OC, inspired by two poképastas. And uh- yeah- I guess-

Earlier today, I served as the “young woman’s voice” in a panel of local experts at a Girl Scouts speaking event. One question for the panel was something to the effect of, “Should parents read their daughter’s texts or monitor her online activity for bad language and inappropriate content?”

I was surprised when the first panelist answered the question as if it were about cyberbullying. The adult audience nodded sagely as she spoke about the importance of protecting children online.

I reached for the microphone next. I said, “As far as reading your child’s texts or logging into their social media profiles, I would say 99.9% of the time, do not do that.”

Looks of total shock answered me. I actually saw heads jerk back in surprise. Even some of my fellow panelists blinked.

Everyone stared as I explained that going behind a child’s back in such a way severs the bond of trust with the parent. When I said, “This is the most effective way to ensure that your child never tells you anything,” it was like I’d delivered a revelation.

It’s easy to talk about the disconnect between the old and the young, but I don’t think I’d ever been so slapped in the face by the reality of it. It was clear that for most of the parents I spoke to, the idea of such actions as a violation had never occurred to them at all.

It alarms me how quickly adults forget that children are people.
