3 and a half bags of donations prepared for 3 of the community groups I frequently attend and receive so much from. Time to give back a little. Mostly art related supplies. Though I've also included some personal care products that are always in need by MHRC. #sitelines thru @centre3_ , @thelostorganization and #mentalhealthrightscoalition I will also be making a small cash donation to @harrrp since I do pottery there. And they offer a lot more programs. My thanks to all of these organizations who have helped me and many others in our community, especially those dealing with mental health issues. One-night workshop at Siteline studio tonight was making paper lanterns with Hitoko Okada. This was my end result. Very geometric decorating - not surprising for an engineering type. My clay sculpting of an Easter Island Maoi (Rapa Nui) is hand-finished. Now to engrave some of the subtle artwork and paint it before firing. Main shaping and firing done at HARRRP, fine detail artwork will be done at home with Dremel tools. #arttherapy #harrrp #hamont (at HARRRP)
