chemistery notes. am i crazy for studying on vacation? probably, but anyways, i like the way them look
reading makes me so happy. i can't believe i did so little of this last year.
one more note ;) i think i'm taking my next notes on the same style
i'm going to the beach with some friends on the next weekend. i'm really excited, although i said i didn't like there, i enjoy it now and i miss it

Sunja stared at him. In the moments before her death, her mother had said that this man had ruined her life, but had he? He had given her Noa; unless she had been pregnant, she wouldn't have married Isak, and without Isak, she wouldn't have had Mozasu and now her grandson Salomon. She didn't want to hate him anymore. What did Joseph say to his brothers who had sold him into slavery when he saw them again? "You Intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives". This was something Isak had taught her when she'd asked him about the evil of this world.

i miss the best coffee shop i've ever been :'(
this was my first week on my 2023 planner.
araucarias are pretty
although i'm not the kind of person who enjoys to read multiple books at once, i'm currently reading four books
Pachinko (on my kindle): it's a fiction book that tells a korean family story, the story takes place on the second war and it's a interesting way to understand more about the relation between japanese and korean.
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers: it's the second book of the trilogy. i do enjoy to read it but i'm struggling to end with this book, i've been reading this for months and it feels like it'll never end.
Waiting For Your Prince: i literrally bought this book on a ship. it has been interesting to read it, i think that reading that has been helping me with my relationship with God.
Bible (NVT version): i like to read the bible in different versions and i'm currently using this one. the bookcover is beautiful and the language easy to understand.
hi, soo i guess i'm back (it's probably only a vacation phase because i'm bored, but who knows?)
Today, I am happier than yesterday.
Day Nineteen of Tranquil's winter studying challenge: Do you prefer silence or noise when you are focusing? How about when you're relaxing?
When I am focusing, I prefer silence, specially if I am studying math. When I am relaxing, I prefer noise, I love to listen to background music while I am not studying.
Today, I am fine.
Day Fifteen of Tranquil's winter studying challenge: Do you feel like art and creativity is something to be shared, or something that should be more personal? Do you feel like there is more merit given to people that share their creations and art with the public?
In my point of vision, art should only be created for yourself, but there is not a problem to share with the world. The point of art is to express anything that you want with creativity!
Day Sixteen Tranquil's winter studying challenge: Favourite food or drink to study with? (Bonus points if you share pictures of said food or drink)
I don't really eat food while studying, I prefer to take a pause to do it, but I like to drink tea and water while studying.
Day Seventeen Tranquil's winter studying challenge: When are you graduating from your current academic institution (university, high school, etc.) if you haven't graduated yet? and if you have already graduated, when did you graduate? What are your plans now that you've graduated?
I'll graduate from middle school in two weeks! I'm so exicited to vacation!
Day Eighteen Tranquil's winter studying challenge: If you could study abroad, where would you go?
I would really like to study in USA, since I'm from Brazil. Another place that interested me is Germany.
Today, I am stressed.
Day Fourteen of Tranquil' winter studying challenge: What do you think you add to this world?
I don't know, I have never thought about that, maybe joyful?
Today, I choose to be grateful, no matter what happens, because God is good.
Day Thirteen of Tranquil's winter studying challenge: How do you feel about taking a "self-care day" and not studying for a day or two?
Sometimes the study comunity can be really toxic while making the impression that we always need to be the perfect student and be productive. I think that is pretty normal to take a rest and have a self care-day. We don't need to be productive every single day!
Today, I am bored
Day Seven of Tranquil's winter studying challenge: What movies have you been watching lately? What movies would you recommend to others?
The last movies that I watched were Finch, charlie's angels and Minari. I would recommend Avengers: Infinity War, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and A walk to remember.
Day Eight of Tranquil's winter studying challenge: Do you speak any other languages? What is your favourite word or phrase in each language you speak?
Besides English, I speak portuguese, since I am from Brazil, and a little little bit of japanese. My favourite word in portuguese is "tipo" (type, kind, sort), I don't know why, I just use it everytime I am talking. My favourite word in Japanese is by far 卵 [tamago] (egg), it sounds so nice to say it.
Day Nine of Tranquil's winter studying challenge: Share a time when you were struggling and what you did to get through it.
Actually, I don't really remember a time that I was struggling, but in the most of the times, I would pray.
Day Ten of Tranquil's winter studying challenge: What advice would you give to someone in terms of writing an awesome essay?
Write in your time, don't keep looking for how many words you already wrote and pay attention to you grammar.
Day Eleven of Tranquil's winter studying challenge: What element do you feel most connected to and why? (Earth, Air, Fire, Water)
Fire, I guess, I have lots of great memories that involves fire.
Day Twelve of Tranquil's winter studying challenge: Do you ever wish that you could go back in time and change something about your life? If you did, what would be different now?
One day, I forgot to turn off my cellphone for my classes and it rang like three times. It was so embarassing.
Today, I choose to give my best.
Day Six of the Tranquil's winter studying challenge: If you could write any research paper or study any niche area within your field, what would you study? OR, if this doesn't apply to you, what field of study do you want to go into?
I would love to study international economics
Today, I am happy
Day Five of the Tranquil's winter study challenge: Name five things you are really good at.
1.Overthink, of course
2.Read for hours and hours
3. Write stories
4. Cook
5. Play card games
Today, I am tired.
Day One of the Tranquil's winter studying challenge: The beginning of the challenge, woohoo you did it! A lot of the time starting is the hardest part. So, tell us a little bit about yourself! What are you studying currently, what where are you in your life right now? Are you happy with where you are right now? What are your goals in doing this challenge?
Hey, my name is Yanni, my close friends call me of yaya and some people that think my name is to difficult call me by my surname, Koti. I'm currently in my last month of middle school and I'm studying english too (my level is b1). I'm really happy where I'm now and couldn't wish anything better, wich is amazing to say since I was feeling really bad with this hole pandemic. I don't really have goals doing this challenge, I'm just new in tumblr community and wanted to try it.
Day Two of the Tranquil's winter studying challenge: Write yourself a thank you letter.
Dear Yanni,
Thank you for not giving up even when it was so hard that the only thing that you wanted to do was cry in your bedroom and give up with everything. You won, you found your happiness again, you made your parents pround and you are stronger.
Day Three of the Tranquil's winter studying challenge: What is your favourite piece of technology to study with and why? (iPads, tablets, laptops, etc.)
I'm the kind of person that loves paper, I love to write on it, I love to study with my notes in the paper, but I think the laptop is my favourite, just because it's easier to do my projects for school.
Day Four of the Tranquil's winter studying challenge: Do you believe in fate?
Yes, I do. The way that I think about fate it's really difficult to explain. I believe that all the things that happens in life take you to your destiny, even the bad ones. But I still believe that we have the power to make our own decisions, because we don't know our fate.
